Job Description

Scope:
Working directly with the Manager of Studio and Production Engineering, you will work to edit and produce video messages, productions, and video content presentations for broader distribution. The successful candidate should have experience delivering an outstanding customer experience while working with industry standard software tools to complete video editing, motion graphic editing and design, as well as graphic design to support the technical delivery for Visa communication messages and requests. The candidate will collaborate with engineering, operations, and communications teams to ensure that the support aligns with our brand standards and is exceptional.
Primary Responsibilities include:
- Produce and edit corporate video production messages and production assignments.
- Provide Operational support for testing, setup and running of live events both virtually and locally across our other North America offices.
- Provide onsite support and assistance with any of the live events, client meetings, video calls, and recordings run from the local office in New York throughout the year
- Edit, stitch together and manipulate raw video recordings for later viewing or distribution.
- Ability to produce graphic asset content to align with brand templates and design standards
- Assist in the production of webcast / video recorded content and video conference global meetings, cultural events, and training seminars.
- Participate fully in the development, testing and QA functions so that projects are securely delivered and fulfill expectations.
- Provide technical consultancy to operations, engineering team members and end users to ensure issues are resolved in the shortest possible timeframe.
This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.

Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree OR 3+ years of relevant work experience
Preferred Qualifications:
- 2 or more years of work experience
- 5 years’ experience in Production, Video, Streaming, which can be a combination of experience in the Design, Video Editing or other equivalent professionally qualified education and experience such as Associates or Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or other technology field. Streaming certifications are highly preferred.
- Proficiency of operation and high-level competence and understanding of editing tools, compositors, and graphics packages such as Adobe Premiere, Photoshop and After Effects
- Strong background working with a broad array of video compression and codecs, resolutions and format technology
- High level of competence in the following: Microsoft Teams, Microsoft Teams Rooms, WebEx, video bridging infrastructure, AV technologies and web streaming solutions (such as VBrick and vMix) experience are preferred
- Good technical understanding of AV equipment, encoders, signal flows, architecture and live system setups for broadcasts
- Good understanding of streaming media workflows, CDN connectivity and media distribution for live and on-demand content both within an enterprise network and externally
- A conceptual understanding of basic routing/switching/QOS, firewalls and its potential impact on voice, video and web streaming network environments.
- Good understanding of live event workflow with AV switches and routers
- Strong process orientation and planning, organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Strong analytical, interpersonal, facilitation and leadership skills along with effective oral/written communication skills.
- Ability to explain technical information to non-technical users.
- Experience leading technology deployments on moderately sophisticated cross regional projects, including planning, documentation, and implementation.

Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.
Travel Requirements: This position requires travel 5-10% of the time.
Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting. The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is 84,700.00 to 108,000.00 USD, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity.
