Job Description

The Staff SW Engineer will play a key role in building deep partnerships with our business partners while championing innovative ways to evolve our Client Onboarding Experience including build and automate our product onboarding capabilities. 

Deliverables will focus on leveraging data and insights to help us deliver faster as an organization while remaining well-managed.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain robust, scalable, and high-performance web applications.

  • Collaborate with cross functional teams to design, develop, and deploy new features and enhancements.

  • Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code following industry best practices.

  • Troubleshoot and debug complex issues across the entire technology stack.

  • Continuously improve the application's performance, security, and reliability.

  • Building websites: Work with the full stack of web technologies that power websites

  • API development depending on the application architecture, the developer is responsible for API creation. These APIs perform crucial tasks like fetching data from the server. 

  • Development of front-end: With the help of HTML, CSS and JavaScript frameworks and libraries, the developer must be able to build interactive user interfaces. 

  • Design the backend of the application: He must be able to build a robust backend architecture to fetch data from the servers

This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week determined by leadership site, with a general guidepost of being in the office 50 percent or more of the time based on business needs.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications

  • 5+ years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or at least 2 years of work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 0 years of work experience with a PhD, OR 8+ years of relevant work experience.


Preferred Qualifications

  • 6 or more years of work experience with a bachelor's degree or 4 or more years of relevant experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or up to 3 years of relevant experience with a PhD
  • 7-10 years of work experience in design and develop applications with complexity, cross functional programs, experience in financial or banking, Management Consulting and/or technology industries, a plus but not required.
  • Familiarity with database technology such as MySQL, Oracle, and MongoDB.
  • Sprint Boot The ideal candidate must have hands-on experience in building and deploying Spring Boot applications.
  • Proficient in Java, including its ecosystem and popular frameworks.
  • Proficient in building responsive UI components using ReactJS or Angular2+.
  • Strong expertise in Typescript and Redux to create well-structured and scalable applications.
  • Thorough knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes for containerization and orchestration. 
  • Ability to interact with and strong knowledge in building API including REST
  • Good to have works in development and design of business process modeling (BPM)
  • Good problem-solving skills.

Additional Information

Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.

Travel Requirements: This position requires travel 5-10% of the time.

Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting.  The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is 117,700.00 to 153,000.00 USD, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity.
