Job Description
Verifi, Inc., a Visa company, is currently hiring for a collaborative team-oriented Senior Director (Head of BPO). This role will be a member of Verifi business unit’s Leadership Team, reporting to Verifi’s VP/General Manager (GM) to provide global strategic support on all internal and external initiatives. You will help drive the strategy of Verifi, while collaborating with key members of the Leadership Team and multiple members of various functions across Verifi and Visa.
Responsibilities:
Strategy, Operations and Execution
- In support of the GM, coordinating strategic business decisions around revenue generation, expense control, and resource allocation; supporting the strategy and operations across the Verifi product portfolio
- In close partnership key business partners including Finance, People, and Technology, leading annual operating plan and multi-year outlook process, and driving key strategic, financial, and operational activities by leading business reviews, off-site, OKR planning, and regular OKR review. Proactively review all progress reports, updates, dashboards and highlighting areas that require attention
- Organizing and prioritizing critical information, issues, and data to facilitate efficient decision-making
- Managing specific deliverables, these may range from ensuring that project actions are acted upon to addressing time-sensitive requests from senior management to researching and analyzing data to support the GM in decision making
Internal Communications
- Leading and coordinating the creation of Verifi internal communications architecture, materials, agendas and cadences such as All-staffs, newsletters, Verifi Leadership Team mtgs, and middle management mtgs; synchronizing with Visa Global Product Org or Exec requests as needed
- Working with Verifi Leadership Team and the Visa regions around the world to collect key developments and highlights in preparation for meetings and discussions to communicate to Visa LT to promote the progress of Verifi product portfolio against scorecards or important milestones.
Culture and Collaboration
- Improving processes continuously by leading change management; efficiency and controls to increase team productivity within a high performing culture, identifying tools and systems as needed
- Proactively identifying opportunities for recognition and help drive team engagement by providing visibility to LT of talent across the organization, developing team engagement activities/opportunities.
- Build trusted relationships across Verifi and Visa, understanding and being cognizant of internal dynamics, issues, and risks
This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
- 10 years of work experience including experience in management, consulting, program mgt or similar with a bachelor’s degree
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a strong customer-centric mindset
- Demonstrated thought leadership and the aptitude to think creatively and identify new ways to innovate and differentiate products with evidence of tangible business results
- Previous experience in the financial/payments industry with a passion for the opportunity to transform the industry
- Strong team player, self-motivated and the ability to work independently at coordinating cross functional activities, obtain buy-in and elevate issues at critical junctures appropriately
- Low ego, high emotional literacy, with excellent communication skills, including verbal, listening, written and presentation skills with proven ability to build and maintain cross-functional relationships
- Proven experience
- Performing cross-functional program mgt such as leading OKRs across an executive team to drive results
- Planning large team events and offsites
- Listening to team members, changing course when needed, and/or escalating as appropriate
- Comfort leading and working closely with cross-functional teams required
Additional Information
Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.
Travel Requirements: This position requires travel 5-10% of the time.
Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting. The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is 163,600.00 to 225,000.00 USD, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity.
