Job Description
Position Summary:
The Senior Systems Analyst position requires an experienced professional with strong technical and product management experience who understands how to bring all the key technology, data and platform components and services together to make sure we can deliver scalable and robust products and solutions for the Global AML & Sanctions Compliance program. The successful candidate will be working in the Compliance Technology Operations (CTO) team which is part of the Global Ethics and Compliance organization.
The candidate will be extensively involved in hands-on activities including POCs, design, documentation, development, and testing. The candidate should be a motivated self-starter and quick learner.
Essential Functions:
Engage with business users at different levels to understand Compliance business needs, analyze, document, evaluate and prioritize the requirements and make recommendations on the solution and implementation
Drive, develop and maintain numerous project deliverables that support the Compliance program, including functional/non-functional specifications, data mapping/transformation, solution design, process diagram, acceptance criteria, UAT scripts and other project artifacts
Provide functional leadership during technology enhancements/upgrades/ implementations and work successfully as a liaison with various internal business/technical partners
Work effectively with the solution and technical teams to help them understand the specifications/requirements for technical development, testing and implementation
Integrate strategic thinking, problem-solving skills, and cross-functional collaboration to execute on Compliance strategy, drive innovation and business results
Analyze/document current and future business process models, high-level requirements (scope), and detailed functional specifications and/or stories, communicate to the lead developers and extended team effectively
Analyze technology and process gaps, design solutions, implement technology features, and support data analytics program
Drive and execute functional design, testing, change management and end user acceptance for projects and enhancements as needed using structured programming skills, including program testing and debugging techniques
Participate in cross-functional stakeholder communications, send status reports by preparing materials, facilitating sessions and documenting outcomes
Responsible for the design, development and maintenance of reports, dashboards, and ad-hoc queries
Work in a highly collaborative environment and develop effective relationships with business and with IT stakeholders
Execute queries to understand data flow for effective data mapping and for creating data flow diagrams to better understand the impact of the application
Perform checks and audits of various systems and data sources to identify and implement operational excellence and control needs. Strong follow-through, ability to drive to closure and resolution of complex system issues
This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.
Qualifications
• Minimum 5+ years of technical/programming experience, analyzing business requirements and supporting information systems projects
• Experience of working in end-to-end software development lifecycle
• 4+ years of product/project/program management or engineering experience preferably with external customer facing web software projects
• At least 2 years of experience in data analysis, reporting, quantitative analysis, research, data mining, trend analysis etc.
