What’s it all about?

The Global Partner Network team are responsible for identifying and designing the solution for Network Partners and owning the relationships for Visa Direct worldwide. Aligned with Visa Directs Global's strategic objectives, this team is critical in enabling the growth of the cross-border payments offering. This crucial role will build out a much-needed capability for the team, responsible for engaging prospect partners and assessing their capabilities to ensure that Visa Payments Limited minimum standards are met so the best solution design is put forward into integration.

 

What we expect of you, day to day.

This role will report to the Director, Network Partner Solutions and shall:

  • Develop and implement the roadmap for Visa Payments Limited network of Banks and Partners for the LAC and NA regions.
  • Conduct the technical assessment of potential network Partners against our minimum and optimal standards for integrations. 
  • Prepare the scope of work and solution design for each route, including connectivity and payments mapping.
  • Present key findings, risks and issues as part of the initial partner analysis and highlight the impact of any deviations from minimum standards.
  • Provide solution recommendations to multiple stakeholders, including Treasury, Operations and Integration, to ensure new Partners align with strategic objectives and provide the necessary capabilities.
  • Identify opportunities and make recommendations to drive improvements and increase effectiveness.
  • Provide regional market insight and feedback to Network Integration on suggested changes to the minimum Network Integration Standards. 

This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.

Qualifications

• Depth knowledge of Payments Connectivity such as API, SFTP, SWIFT, and file formatting ISO20022 and MT messages.
• Deep understanding of Global Payment Cash Management specifically focused on cross border account to account payments.
• In-depth knowledge of compliance, regulatory, product and technical aspects associated with account-to-account payments.
• Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly and articulately to both technical and non-technical internal and external audiences at varying levels of management.
• Exceptional interpersonal and presentation skills and a proven ability to influence and communicate effectively across different markets and functional lines.
• Ability to manage a complex and varied workload, supporting multiple ongoing initiatives across different countries.
• Advanced planning, organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent PowerPoint and Excel Skills.

• Spanish fluency required

Additional Information

Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.

Travel Requirements: This position requires travel 5-10% of the time.

Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting.  The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is 130,800.00 to 170,000.00 USD, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity.
