Job Description
Issuing Solutions is a business unit within Visa’s Value-Added Services (VAS) organization. Issuing Solutions, a key growth engine for VAS, aims to enable issuing clients (e.g. banks, Fintechs, embedded finance participants etc.) to issue Visa credentials, process transactions and ultimately take advantage of the diverse suite of value-added services and products at Visa tailored specifically for issuers.
The Director for Issuing Solutions Business Operations will be responsible for driving organizational alignment for the business and helping provide rigor and discipline to run the business smoothly. This person will join a team aimed at providing critical business infrastructure and stakeholder coordination and management. A key responsibility for this role will be to own deliverables related to the operating cadence of the Issuing Solutions org and to fulfill requests for data and materials from the parent VAS org to drive alignment. The role will also be focused on partnering with cross-functional team members (e.g. Product, Sales, Technology, Client Services, Finance, HR) to help Issuing Solutions prepare for internal presentations and other requests that are ultimately meant to articulate Issuing Solutions’ execution plans in service of its strategic objectives.
This is a critical position reporting to the Senior Director of Issuing Solutions Business Operations and working closely and supporting the Head of Issuing Solutions. The role requires considerable cross-functional collaboration, superb project management skills, flexibility to adapt to a variety of time-sensitive asks and projects and ability to operate proactively. The ability to communicate effectively with and synthesize executive-level talking points for the VP and SVP level audience is also an important aspect of this role.
Examples of responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
- Lead delivery, consolidation and synthesis of critical information needed by Issuing Solutions to maintain internal business operating rhythm (e.g. Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs), C-Suite level presentations, Board presentations, Investor Day, earnings calls, client presentations etc.)
- Manage the annual planning process for Issuing Solutions through coordination and strong communication across Issuing Solutions product lines, parent VAS org and other Visa teams
- Define and develop key metrics (e.g. OKRs, KPIs) for the Issuing Solutions business scorecard and oversee ongoing tracking and reporting
- Drive ad hoc analysis and due diligence to provide key business insights for high-priority initiatives (e.g. go-to-market strategies, revenue acceleration opportunities, scenario analyses, competitive intelligence)
Qualifications
o 10 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or at least 8 years of work experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters/ MBA)
Preferred Qualifications
o 12 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or 8-10 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA)
o Equally comfortable operating at 10,000 feet and 1 foot.
o Excellent project management skills and experience with influencing without authority in a large cross-functional team environment
o Self-starter who is comfortable in ambiguous environments
o Collaborative spirit and a knack for understanding and communicating stakeholder needs
o Strong attention to detail and focus on articulating business minutiae and nuances in simple easy-to-understand ways
o Previous experience in financial services and/or payments preferred
o Excellent analytical (qualitative and quantitative) acumen
o Curious and inquisitive, with a strong desire to get beyond the “what” and into the “why”
o Proactive and effective communicator, experienced in presenting information to all levels
o Highly adept at PowerPoint and Excel

Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.
Travel Requirements: This position requires travel 5-10% of the time.
Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting. The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is 124,600.00 to 162,000.00 USD, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity.
