Job Description
Visa has an exciting opportunity in our Finance department for a Senior Finance Operations Analyst to play a critical role in delivering priorities in the execution of revenue changes and price modifications.
The Senior Analyst will be part of the Finance Revenue Operations organization within the Controllership team and will be working closely with other Finance teams, the business unit leaders and the Technology team. The role is part of a small team responsible for executing business initiatives (price and product changes), driving process improvements (including documentation) and problem solving for client related transaction queries. (Problem solving relates to ‘Value In Kind’ (VIK) transactions)
Excellent understanding of business requirements and the systems and data required to achieve implementation are crucial for this role. Equally critical thinking, and communication skills are essential. Must also be self-directed and comfortable in multi-tasking, and adaptable to change.
- Support in the delivery of complex pricing changes and ensuring that appropriate processes, systems, and controls are in place
- Support Value In Kind (VIK) process as it relates to transactional VIK answering queries from various internal and external stakeholders
- Lead and deliver multiple price billing changes running simultaneously in parallel including updating the ‘Fee Guide’
- Analyse system setups and data, ensure governance is followed and review and validate system changes including documenting evidence for audit and Sarbanes Oxley (SOX) review
- Setup client and pricing changes on the billing system
- Support the team to identify, evaluate and resolve billing issues in collaboration with Technology, Finance Systems Strategy, product owners and clients
- Review and challenge existing processes and documentation and ensure continuous process improvements are met by designing, documenting, and executing optimal end-state processes
- Ability to work independently, usually within a complex and changing environment, to meet operational deadlines
- Communicate effectively and proactively with all levels of management and articulate ideas and recommendations clearly
- Use knowledge and existing methodologies to solve problems and anticipates issues
- Influence others within job sub-function regarding practices, procedures and policies and communicates complex issues
This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.
Qualifications
•Progressive operational experience with a high level of accuracy in a complex environment preferably with large, multi-national, publicly traded companies.
•Experience of improvement methodologies (Lean Six Sigma, BPR, BPM and BA certifications) and a proven track record of applying them in either a project or continuous improvement environment.
•Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) and ability to translate complex information into comprehensive, concise and high-quality business requirements with minimal revisions.
•Excellent data analysis skills and preferably demonstrated experience in testing, validation, Quality Assurance, User Acceptance Testing, and related disciplines.
•Excellent ability to effectively juggle multiple projects at one time and meet project deadlines.
•Demonstrated ability to learn quickly and achieve in-depth understanding of complex processes and systems.
•Background in transaction-based billing preferred.
