Job Description

The Technology Training Manager is a member of Visa University’s Global Learning Delivery organization, responsible for the efficient and effective delivery and maintenance of Tech College training for Visa employees. You will bring your experience delivering technical training to software developers, data engineers, data science, cybersecurity and other technical learners, and your demonstrated passion for excellent learner experience, to your role both virtually and in person for learners across the globe. This role will focus on onboarding for new hires in the Technology org, plus other new hires including Data Scientists across the enterprise. This role will grow together with the Visa technical curriculum.

This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.

Qualifications

5 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor’s degree. The focus of your work has been in training, working with technology teams.

Preferred Qualifications:
• 6 or more years of work experience with a Bachelors Degree or 4 or more years of relevant experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or up to 3 years of relevant experience with a PhD
• You have 4-6 or more years, of work experience with an Bachelor’s Degree. Master’s degree is preferred in the area of: CS, EE, Data Science, etc.
• You have progressive experience delivering technical training to software developers, data scientists & engineering, cybersecurity and similar technical learners.
• You have strong business acumen.
• You have a passion for teaching, facilitation and providing awesome learning experiences.
• You have the ability to learn new topics quickly.
• You have the ability to deliver learning programs using single channel or blended approaches, including virtual and classroom-based instructor-led training (ILT), peer-to-peer learning, on-the-job learning, digital cohorts, etc.
• You have the ability to comprehend and translate complex technical concepts into terms that are easy to understand in an influential and persuasive manner.
• You have strong communication (written and verbal) and consulting skills.
• You are comfortable with ambiguity and an agile org with rapidly changing requirements and content.

Additional Information

Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.

Travel Requirements: This position requires travel 5-10% of the time.

Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting.  The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is 96,100.00 to 125,000.00 USD, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity.
