Job Description

Reporting directly to the Director of Global Technology Change Management, we are seeking a System Analyst with IT operations and/or service management (Change) experience. The candidate must possess a good understanding of the IT infrastructure components (servers, network, storage, middleware/database, application software and data center facilities) and processes followed in software development and IT operations, as well some of the tools used to implement and manage them.

The candidate must have good understanding of change risk assessments, Change Advisory Board meetings, and the day-to-day running of IT Change Management process. 

Essential Duties:

  • Supports Visa's IT Change Management Process
  • Educates users, monitors compliance to, and continually assesses and improves enterprise-wide Change Management process, considering internal and external audit requirements
  • Services as central point of contact for all changes that impact Operations, produces up-to-date change schedules for large and varying Visa audience
  • Offers recommendations on changes pending authorization – as appropriate, approve, modify, or reject
  • Assists in the resolution of scheduling conflicts
  • Chairs the Change Advisory Board process, provides reports for CAB review
  • Monitors metrics and drive continuous infrastructure and application improvement efforts across team to achieve SLA & KPI for Change Management
  • Production of statistics and reports to demonstrate performance of the Change Management process 
  • Works with process owners and stakeholders to re-engineer processes to be simple, nimble, repeatable, measurable, achievable, and continuously
    improved  
  • Suggests comprehensive metrics that can be actionable and promote positive behavioral changes Baseline, improve and re-measure success. Work with the Metrics team to deliver reporting metrics to drive continuous improvement
  • Manages relationships with other process management teams to provide a consistent delivery framework
  • Work with the requirements, documentation, and training teams so process improvements are implemented, documented, and users are trained in their use.
  • Evangelizes the virtues of IT process management and create a collaborative environment
  • Enhances knowledge of the field through participation in professional organizations and self-study

 

This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:
• 2+ years of relevant work experience and a Bachelors degree, OR 5+ years of relevant work experience

Preferred Qualifications:
• 3 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or more than 2 years of work experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD)
• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Engineering, or related Technology field
• 5+ years' experience in IT Service Management or IT Operations
• 5 years’ experience in IT Change Management (including reviewing Change Requests for authorization, facilitating CAB meetings, producing Change Management metrics and KPIs, etc.)
• Strong customer service, analytical, research, interpersonal and problem-solving skills required
• ITIL Foundation Certified
• Experience using and administering ticketing tools such as Service Now
• High level technical understanding of IT services and their components such as servers, networks, database/middleware, data center facilities, and software development lifecycle
• Working knowledge of MS-Office products for Windows including Word, Excel, Visio, and SharePoint
• Good presentation and communications skills across multiple levels of the organization, including senior management. Must be able to articulate messages across a variety of audiences
• Self-driven and ability to work independently
• Flexible working hours to accommodate diverse geographic locations

Additional Information

Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.

Travel Requirements: This position requires travel 5-10% of the time.

Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting.  The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is 90,400.00 to 115,200.00 USD, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity.
