Visa Consulting and Analytics (VCA) is the consulting arm of Visa, and drives tangible, impactful and financial results for Visa’s network clients, including both financial services and merchants. Drawing on our expertise in strategy consulting, data analytics, brand management, marketing, operational and macroeconomics, VCA solves the most strategic problems for our clients.

Visa Managed Services (VMS) is an augmentation of Visa’s consultancy offering, supporting the execution and implementation of recommendations to help scale competitive advantage and operate to succeed in the digital age.

We are looking for a VMS Payments Consultant with a strong background in payments or financial services to form an integral part of our VMS team, leading multiple payments work streams within key Visa clients in France, Belgium and Luxembourg (FBL). What we expect of you, day to day

Working closely with both client and Visa personnel, the VMS Payments Consultant will have accountability for ensuring the delivered project outcomes are aligned against both the clients and Visa’s objectives across all aspects of delivery. This will include:

• Collaborate with key individuals across both Visa and the client. Product, marketing, compliance, legal, and other business SMES are your key partners, you will influence to ensure alignment and support towards the product vision
• Lead workstreams and/or support the delivery of client engagements in the cards and payments space, ensuring the project achieves the required outcomes. This may involve leading a small team of Client resources, depending on the size of the assignment.
• Work with key business collaborators to elicit, analyse, communicate and validate requirements for changes to business processes, policies, information and systems to achieve final technology/business solution
• Support Business and new product development to ensure continued market leadership, including being a great partner with IT in terms of preparing and owning Business Requirements for new products
• Produce insights, analyses and recommendations to improve Client performance, boost growth, drive understanding of client issues and provide strategic guidance for client priorities across the verticals and segments
• Actively participate and support the Client in ad hoc and business as usual activities under the guidance and direction of the Programme Lead
• Serve as a day-to-day Client contact, collaborating closely with clients throughout the assignment lifecycle.
• Deliver reports and presentations communicating recommended approaches
• Liaises with various Visa team members and parties where appropriate to boost collaboration and experience sharing

This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.

What we’re after…

• Extensive consulting and/or experience of the payments business and/or cards business
• Implementation experience across any number of Visa related areas, including the implementation of Visa and 3rd party digital products and APIs, portfolio management, campaign management, ownership and management of payment and card business products and segments
• Ability to utilise data to solve business problems through strong Business & Data Analysis Skills (research and analyse market and client information to tell a story) and proficiency in some innovative analytic and business intelligence tools
• Ability to collaborate closely with multiple partners at various levels within the business
• Self-motivated, results oriented individual with the ability to handle numerous projects concurrently. High levels of integrity and business ethics
• Educated to degree level or equivalent experience
• Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills
• Fluent in French, with proficiency in English (written and verbal) to a business level.
• Excellent presentation and communication skills, including an ability to comprehend and convey sophisticated technical information
