Job Description

Seeking an experienced Human Capital Strategist to join our team as we build out our People Team Transformation Charter.  At Visa we are committed to delivering quarterly transformation enhancements to shore up our operations, uplift our strategic impact and deliver a world-class employee experience that fuels Visa’s growth. You will be an active Consultant helping us achieve meaningful organizational change by helping to motivate employees while implementing change. You will provide expert consultative advice and coaching that assist with growth. You will also advise and help co-create a lasting strategy for implementing workforce change.  You should have demonstrable, actionable HR Consulting skills to assist lifting our ability to continue to globally expand our workforce, engagement and streamline systems and tools. 

Essential Functions:

  • Lead projects or major project workstreams related to Visa Inc.'s People strategy, efficiencies, and best of class corporate initiatives

  • Structure and solve business problems, collaborating and coordinating with a range of internal stakeholders to make recommendations on a wide range of business issues. Build out unique, creative and impactful solutions by integrating insights across Visa's many expert functional resources and supporting collaborative solution development

  • Develop rigorous, fact based, quantitative analysis to support recommendations. Ensure strategic and financial soundness and alignment for any recommendations

  • Work closely with cross-functional and regional management teams on strategic projects, bringing timely and useful insight and analytical support

  • Communicate recommendations to senior management, other executive, functional, or regional staff and management in a clear, concise and impactful way

  • Provide continuous coaching and training ​

This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office two days a week, Tuesdays and Wednesdays with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% of the time based on business needs.

Qualifications

Basic:

• 10 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or at least 8
years of work experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters/
MBA/JD/MD) or at least 3 years of work experience with a PhD

Preferred:

• 12 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or 8-10 years of
experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 6+ years
of work experience with a PhD
• MBA or relevant graduate degree from top-tier institution or similar academic /
professional experience
• Typically requires 6+ years total experience with 2-4+ years of post-graduate
experience in management consulting or corporate strategy preferred
• Experience in and/or significant exposure to the Human Capital consulting
• Knowledge of HR Transformation innovative industry drivers a plus.
Experience working with economic theories, strategic and prioritization
frameworks, scenarios analysis, and competitive assessments.
• Ability to independently lead and manage projects with multiple workstreams,
with proven leadership success over a wide variety of functional business
problems
• Ability to structure and manage complex cross-enterprise projects and
processes with multiple stakeholders at both senior and junior levels
• Superior analytical and problem-solving skills, with demonstrated intellectual
and analytical rigor, attention to detail and ability to structure and analyze
sophisticated financial modeling
• Personal presence and ability to clearly communicate compelling messages
to senior managers and external business partners
• Strong interpersonal and leadership skills to influence and build credibility as a
peer with functional and regional leaders within Visa
• Commitment to continuous training and improvement of employees
throughout the People Transformation process
• Self-starter, team oriented, collaborative, diplomatic, and flexible, with
excellent presentation skills, including strong oral and writing capabilities.

Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.

Travel Requirements: This position requires travel 5-10% of the time.

Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting.  The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.

US Applicants Only: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is 132,100.00 USD to 171,700.00 USD, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position is eligible for annual bonus and equity.
