Job Description
Purpose:
The Manager will be part of the Visa Consulting & Analytics team in GCC and NALP which delivers high impact consulting, analytics, and data science projects to our clients across MENA. We are looking for motivated individuals to join our growing practice to lead the work on consulting projects, develop detailed analyses, derive relevant insights, and shape clients’ strategies.
Responsibilities include:
- Structure and/or lead parts of or full consulting projects
- Conduct data analysis using Visa and external data to understand client needs across the focus markets and identify opportunities for consulting assignments with clients across their assigned region.
- Conduct benchmarking and market research as required
- Work closely with the engagement team manager and client representative to deliver the projects
- Run project work streams on a day-to-day basis, including conducting research and data analysis and synthesizing them to develop insights and recommendations
- Assume full project management responsibility for the assigned project or parts and be the primary liaison with the client and internal stakeholders for project updates
- Provide client project implementation support
- Support Directors / Senior Directors on developing hypotheses, contribute to conclusions and assist other senior team members in presenting back to the client
- Support Directors / Senior Directors on project economics and to manage risk and quality of the project deliverables
- Provide support in developing country plans for consulting activity with clients, securing funds from partnership agreements to support consulting projects where such agreements exist
- Help develop and deliver client training programs and impart best practices knowledge sharing to Visa clients
- Support knowledge sharing with consulting teams in other regions to incorporate best practice, source analytical or other solutions to bring global perspective to local clients
- Support the team in developing and bringing the Visa Consulting & Analytics proposition in the market
- Contribute to the preparation of proposals for new client work
- Support the development of Visa Consulting & Analytics thought leadership material
- Carrying out other ad hoc support, support other functions and teams within Visa, and work on internal projects
This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office two days a week, Tuesdays and Wednesdays with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% of the time based on business needs.
Qualifications
Education/ professional qualifications:
• A recognized undergraduate degree qualification
• MBA or Post Graduate studies is a plus
Experience/ skills required:
• 4-6 years of experience in consulting/ financial services/ payments industry
• Consulting experience gained within either a strategy house, a Big 4 firm or an in-house strategy function of a financial institution is a plus
• Strong analytical and financial modelling skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Comprehensive reporting and presentation skills
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Relationship management skills – should be able to manage internal and external stakeholders
• An ability to collect and utilize business and industry trend information and to analyze this information effectively by applying numerical and strategic analysis techniques
• Expertise in MS Excel and MS PowerPoint
• Group facilitation and presentation skills
• Arabic speaker preferred
