People Business Planning, Operations & Analytics leader acts as a trusted advisor to SVP, People Team, CEMEA providing leadership and support across all geographies and at functional level. The leader will help strategize, design, develop and deliver around standard cadence of operating rhythm for People Team. The role will enable CEMEA leaders to use data-based insights to optimize employee potential and impact on business results. Working in close partnership with cross functional teams and business leaders, this role will drive impact by generating, sharing, and scaling people analytics insights for the company. The leader shall partner with people business partners and the business to identify the insights leaders need and help shape future workforce & accelerate growth.

We are looking for individual having a knack for designing and delivering people models, people insights and analytics strategy that is informed aligned with our strategy and multiyear strategic outlook.

Key Responsibilities:

Business Planning & Operations:

  • Leads the design, planning and development of initiatives that align the overall People strategy in support of business priorities
  • Facilitate monthly business reviews, ensuring goals and initiatives across the function are tracking to plan. This includes regular updates to the CEMEA Regional and Global People scorecards
  • Project/Process Management: Design and execute on a standard cadence of operations while also independently developing and managing project or program plans to support key stakeholder asks.
  • Business Insights: Conduct impactful analyses on major employee trends, including attrition, hiring, promotions and diversity data along with other indicators such as team productivity and performance, and market opportunity data and trends. Lead communication of these insights:
  • Key point of contact for all People related data and metrics for the business.
  • Optimize business decisions with judicious use of data, metrics, and analytics.
  • Develop impactful solutions by integrating insights.
  • Oversee and execute year-long people team engagement cadences including e-bulletins, learning sessions, and townhalls.
  • Acts as the CEMEA People representative on transformation related processes and initiatives.
  • Develop and communicate strategic insights and recommendations related to People objectives, as well as standardized frameworks in support of global People strategy and planning
  • Shape People strategy and operating model going forward, to enable CEMEA Business to reach the multiyear strategic objectives
  • Work with limited direction, usually within a complex and often ambiguous environment, to drive rigorous, fact-based recommendations to senior management, other executive, functional, or global People team

People Analytics & Workforce Planning:

  • Strategic workforce planning ensuring CEMEA staffing model strategy is aligned with corporate strategy, while maximizing the use of resources to achieve business goals.
  • Drive simplification for business partners and to ensure consistency around end-to-end position management
  • Use data visualization and storytelling skills to effectively communicate insights to leaders and influence decisions and outcomes as well as build that capability in others
  • Drive continuous validation of workforce plan in terms of actuals vs planned and forecasts
  • Consistently partner with Talent Acquisition team to validate the movements and provide guidance on outlook, actuals and identified gaps
  • Lead annual operating plan exercise, end to end, including collecting, validating, and analyzing Headcount demand through business and financial lens. Build prioritization and ring-fencing mechanisms for business and enable SVP People, Head of BPO and Regional President with insights and talking points. From execution standpoint 
  • Develop and drive workforce planning and headcount management across the CEMEA region.
  • Build narrative for business for incremental/ repurpose headcount ask from corporate including numerous analyses to support the narrative
  • Lead the build-out of the strategic workforce planning process related to skills segmentation, forecasting and planning, partner through business partners (finance and people) staffing capacity to dynamic forecast methodology
  • Predict overall workforce gaps and risks and drive interventions Provide consultation to CEMEA leaders during out of cycle positions asks before they present in investment committee.
  • Work with the Finance Business Partners and BPOs in other functions on headcount and expense management.
  • Enable people business partners by providing them actionable insights backed up by data to drive interventions. Manage people dashboards for CEMEA.
  • Execute on our people analytics vision and strategy, prioritizing deliverables over the near term while building the foundation for more advanced analytics and research capabilities over the long term
  • Provide thought leadership and advice by leveraging internal data analytics and measurement to optimize the employee life cycle
  • Provide reporting and analytics frameworks and technical solutions that support the goals of our stakeholders
  • Build additional capacity within the people team to use data and analytics to drive decision-making

This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office two days a week, Tuesdays and Wednesdays with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% of the time based on business needs.

Qualifications

• MBA or relevant graduate degree from top-tier institution or similar academic experience
• 10+ years’ experience in strategic planning, chief of staff, workforce planning management and/or enablement, advanced analytics or business intelligence
• Excellent analytical skills with experience turning data into actionable insights and narratives as well as scaling analytic solutions into repeatable offerings to the People team
• Demonstrated success at structuring, managing, and coordinating complex projects and processes with multiple stakeholders at both senior and junior levels
• Superior analytical and problem- solving skills, with demonstrated intellectual and analytical rigor applied to a wide variety of business problems
• Strong executive presence and ability to clearly communicate compelling messages to senior leadership
• Preferred knowledge of Python or R, experience with Workday and other business intelligence tools such as Tableau
• Combined experience in HR, people analytics, data science/business intelligence, experience scaling up workforce planning, and people analytics is highly desirable
• Experience collaborating across multiple stakeholder groups, communicating with diverse audiences, and balancing/negotiating priorities while operating in a matrix environment to influence and challenge at all levels of the organization
• Strong project management capabilities, managing multiple project streams and priorities
• Effective leadership and people management skills, with a focus on developing diverse, high-performing teams and fostering a collaborative and inclusive culture
