Job Description
We are expanding our Early Careers Recruitment Sourcing team at Visa! We are looking for an Early Careers Talent Attraction Manager.
You will lead our University partnership and recruiting strategy which will complement Visa’s digital platform and affiliated sourcing tool strategy. In this role, you will work with the Early Careers Sourcing Manager to ensure Visa is sourcing top Early Careers talent from diverse sources and channels. You will oversee 4-5 Early Careers School Recruiters who will execute Visa’s University partnership and recruiting strategy. You will report into the Director, Early Careers Sourcing & Operational Excellence and collaborate with teammates across the sourcing, recruiting and programs functions.
Essential Functions
Specific roles and responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
- Manage and lead Visa’s School Recruiting strategy and relationships with 2-3 school programs. Attend careers fairs, company presentations and other employment events at various school programs. Develop and lead attraction and education activities for a hybrid recruiting model including both in-person and virtual recruiting activity.
- Collaborate with Early Careers team leaders and peers to solve for broader team priorities, goals and projects.
- Manage a team of School Recruiters responsible for attracting and educating a diverse pipeline of undergraduate/master/Phd intern and graduate candidates across North America locations
- Develop and build trusted business advisor relationships with key stakeholders, business leaders, hiring managers, HR partners, I&D Recruiting team and Brand and Marketing teams
- Maintain a fluid understanding of the workforce plan to create best practices and lead an innovative, year-round talent attraction plan. Regularly track pipeline activity and create communications plan to share with internal partners
- Develop and champion creative processes and techniques to continuously strengthen candidate management and execution of an exceptional candidate experience
- Ensure that all data related to recruiting and candidate management is accurately maintained. Utilize data to identify improvement opportunities and specific candidate follow up strategies
- Identify unique recruiting events and partnerships to develop top, diverse candidate pipeline. Partner with Branding and Marketing team to create innovative marketing materials and branded merchandise to utilize at Sourcing events
- Support and/or manage broader Early Careers program activities and events, such as the Internship program, Black Scholars program or recruiting activities
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications
• 5 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelors Degree or at least 2 years of work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 0 years of work experience with a PhD
• Experience leading teams and remote management experience
• Experience partnering with multiple key stakeholders to build effective sourcing strategies and relationships
Preferred Qualifications
• 6+ years of recruiting related work experience (Corporate and/or University Recruiting preferred) with a Bachelor’s Degree or an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD, or PhD)
• Track record of deploying successful talent attraction, pipeline management and acquisition strategies to achieve hiring of a diverse workforce
• Advanced knowledge of compliance with employment laws
• Experience utilizing multiple recruiting tools to enable and improve talent attraction, engagement, and candidate experience: ATS, CRM, digital sourcing, assessment
• Excellent and professional written and verbal communication skills and effective influencing skills
• Strong problem solver who is excited to develop and lead creative solutions
• Demonstrated customer service focus which provides for an excellent candidate experience
• Highly adaptable and flexible with experience excelling in a a fast paced, matrixed environment
• Excellent negotiation skills and professional presence
• Able to work efficiently and accurately when under pressure to meet tight deadlines
This could be a fully-remote role. The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is $91,700 USD to $149,000 USD. Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location of applicant. In addition, this position is eligible for bonus and equity. Travel Requirements: This position requires travel 20-30% of the time.
