Job Description
Team Summary
The Products and Solutions team is responsible for developing product strategy, providing the thought leadership and long-term design for the growth of credit, debit and prepaid products across the market. This includes Issuer Engagement, Benefits & CVP, Digital Deployment and Digital Solutioning for both Consumer and Commercial Solutions in market.
The team is a critical function tasked with driving the use of Visa credentials and solutions across existing as well as new clients in the market. In addition, the Products and Solutions team also serve as key influencers of the broader payments strategy in the market that helps drive innovation and growth in the large ecosystem.
What a Sr. Manager, Digital Products does at Visa:
We are looking for a Senior Manager to join our Visa Malaysia Product team and this position is responsible for general digital product management as well as the development of solutions which includes the following key activities:
- Manage Visa’s Key Digital Solutions comprising of Risk, Data, Network, Money Movement and Crypto products
- Act as the liaison for the client, understand the pain points of the client and translate it meaningful solution roadmaps for the clients
- Engage in a collaborative team environment with support from an extensive cross-functional team that includes key business partners such as Issuer Sales, Pricing, Merchant Acceptance and Solutions, Global Strategy, and Legal.
- Stay current with industry and client trends and maintain a strong knowledge of Visa products and Services
- Drive Visa Fintech initiatives in market, such as Fintech FastTrack, Visa Everywhere and other digital engagement with Fintech and Digital Banking players to build partnership and scale for Visa
- Provide thought leadership through top class, data led analysis and insights to issuers, partners and internal Visa stakeholders

This position plays an integral role in a high performing product team that is responsible for developing and implementing digital product solutions and strategies designed to maximize growth by helping partners execute programs, enabling innovation, meeting the evolving needs of our stakeholders and industry, and complying with legislative, regulatory, and legal changes.
This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office two days a week, Tuesdays and Wednesdays with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% of the time based on business needs.
Qualifications
Ideal candidates should have a broad perspective and acumen of the payments, banking and Fintech industry coupled with experience in developing and executing strategy. In addition to solid influencing skills, a bias for action, be adept at inspiring creative thought, and a proven ability to translate strategy into tangible initiatives.
What you will need:
- Degree qualified in business and/or technology. Post graduate qualification is a plus and top-tier MBA would be an advantage.
- Minimum 8 to 12 years of experience in related field with project management experience including business planning, business development or account management roles
- Working knowledge of Visa product portfolio
- Driven self-starter who can proactively own and manage individual workstreams
- Detail oriented with strong organizational skills
- Able to effectively prioritize and multi-task under tight deadlines
- Strong verbal, written, presentation skills
What will also help:
- High level understanding on Network tokenization, ApplePay, GooglePay, Contactless Payments and Remittance products is strongly preferred
- Sound understanding of Visa business and organization strongly preferred
