Job Description

What’s it all about?

The internship within Strategy and Business Planning FBL (which includes France, Belgium, and Luxembourg) is a high-visibility role that contributes actively to the regional cluster strategy and supports strategic frameworks to influence, align, and adapt functional/ divisional strategies. This role reports to the Strategy and Business Planning Manager and will have opportunities to work on strategic initiatives, quarterly business performance reviews, and employee engagement activities across the cluster.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Report to the Strategy and Business Planning Manager for France, Belgium-Luxembourg cluster
  • Contribute to the development of the market intelligence dashboard, quarterly performance review and ensure they are delivered in a timely manner and meet high-quality standards for executive presentations
  • Develop a strong working relationship with the different teams across Visa FBL and gain a good understanding of the business so as to provide fact-based, persuasive executive-level guidance and materials needed to facilitate strategic prioritization and decision making
  • Gather external and internal data needed on Visa FBL payment landscape
  • Learn to utilize Visa’ tools and software to respond to sales and deals performance query
  • Assist with the coordination and facilitation of cross-functional initiatives that have strategic impact on Visa business in FBL
  • Uphold a strict level of confidentiality

Qualifications

  • Penultimate year of University, graduating in 2024 (please make sure this is clear on your CV)
  • Strong background in market analysis, strategic business planning
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritise and work with attention to detail
  • Ability to be a lateral thinker and curious about the innovations and changes in the payment market landscape
  • Discretion combined with poise and professionalism in all communications
  • Must be able to exercise good judgement regarding information which may be confidential
  • Ability to operate effectively and efficiently in a challenging, fast-paced environment
  • Customer service-focused with ability to work collaboratively with others
  • Ability to cope with tight deadlines
  • Solid planning, organizational and written and verbal communication skills
  • Some knowledge of the payments business and financial services is a plus
  • Fluent in English and French.
