Job Description

Visa Corporate IT organization is hiring a Technology expert responsible for Operations, solution and delivery in HR Technology. As a  Systems Analyst, you will be part of our People Technology team to help deliver world class software for our business partners. You will report to the Senior Manager in our Corporate IT organization.

We need you to leverage your years of technical experience and your hands-on Workday configuration experience to design, build and deliver Technology solutions with successful outcomes. You will partner closely with our Human Resources team to understand business problems and promote strategic and tactical solutions. You will design, configure, test and deploy new Workday / SaaS application features with precision and transparency and administer business processes in our Global Workday tenant like goal setting, talent reviews and performance reviews. Essential Functions:

  • Contribute to project deliverables including, but not limited to requirements elaboration, functional design, application configuration and support plans
  • Perform unit and quality assurance testing including test case preparation, test execution and test results documentation, contribute to test strategies
  • Partner with lead analysts to explore, evaluate, recommend, and design new features and functionalities with Workday and/or other HR applications
  • Provide operational and project support to lead analysts
  • Develop and enhance working knowledge through training, independent research and experimentation to become a subject matter expert (SME) for at least one distinct business process and application
  • Analyze system and data failures to identify and contribute to operational excellence and control needs
  • Participate in security activities for HR systems by partnering with vendors and Information Security
  • Conduct root cause analysis of problems and apply business knowledge and practical experience to recommend system and product enhancements
  • Participate in the architecture and integration of HR tools including design, testing, implementation

This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office two days a week, Tuesdays and Wednesdays with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% of the time based on business needs.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

  • 2 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD, or PhD)
  • 3 or more years of proven leading the development, testing, configuration, and implementation of new enhancements in Workday.
  • Coordinate with internal and external HR subject matter experts to define requirements and determine recommended solutions to gain approval and execute on project/Data change deliverables.
  • Works to streamline complex business challenges into simple, elegant technology solutions
  • Manage relationships with HR stakeholders to proactively identify and address issues and provide timely support.
  • Pro-actively seeks and identifies continuous improvement opportunities and participates in new release feature and functionality reviews to provide ongoing technical guidance and support
  • Experience with Workday/Oracle/People Soft etc. Core HR Operations (Human Capital Management), Talent Acquisitions & Onboarding, Payroll, Benefits, Compensation, Talent Management, and Mobility, Report Development (Advanced, Matrix, Composite) and Domain Security configurations.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • 3 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or more than 2 years of work experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD)

Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.

Travel Requirements: This position requires travel 5-10% of the time.
