Job Description

The Global Product organization delivers the holistic product strategy for Visa and accelerates the seamless delivery of our products into markets. The Portfolio & Commercialization Operations function is a centralized team driving transparency, standards, and governance across the Global Product organization.  We seek a Leader with strong knowledge in large scale transformations, with a proven track record in successful migrations within portfolio management/development tools (i.e. Jira Align, Jira), and advanced abilities to drive collaboration/change.  We are seeking a passionate person that thrives in ability to step into complex/changing environments and bring consistency and standards to drive efficiencies.

Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership to specific business units within Global Product/VAS organization focused on the implementation Jira Align with a focus to map out clear path for migration/execution roadmap
  • Capture metrics & measurables that clearly indicate progress toward accomplishment of migration to JIRA Align
  • Collaborate with Product and Technology Leaders to understand the business unit portfolio structure, reporting,  and objectives are aligned to provide guidance on how best to ensure connectivity to the overarching transformation program, and their specific execution lane
  • Proactively identify process gaps, roadblocks, bottlenecks, and inefficiencies that will negatively impact the migration, and set up, of Jira Align to help determine creative solutions
  • Partner with Global Product Teams, Transformation Team, and Technology Teams to drive a consolidated approach to Jira Align migration and implementation across the entire Global Product/VAS Portfolios
  • Collaborate with Culture and Change Lead to ensure needed mindsets and behaviors are imparted during onboarding/conversion.  Manage cross-functional communications to maximize understanding, impact, and speed of change adoption

Position Location - This position is open in the following locations -Austin, Atlanta, Miami, Ashburn, San Francisco/Foster City.

Flex Work Arrangement - Hybrid Position - This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office two days a week, Tuesdays and Wednesdays with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% of the time based on business needs.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications

• 10 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or at least 8 years of work experience
with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters/ MBA/JD/MD) or at least 3 years of work experience with a
PhD
• 8 + years’ experience in large product/operational transformations with experience in assisting a
product organization through the implementation of critical tools to support product
portfolios/product development teams/work (i.e. Jira Align/Jira)
• Experience with implementation of SAFe Agile framework
• Proven solution driven approach in matrix organization
• You are experienced working in a fast-paced environment navigating ambiguity successfully, most
likely in product, product development, or large complex transformation initiatives a matrix
organization
• Ability to clearly and effectively translate between business and technical requirements
• Ability to break down complex/ambiguous problems and drive to solution/synthesis
• Ability to distill, analyze, and action large quantities of stakeholder input
• Ability to clearly, concisely, and effectively organize and present information to stakeholders to
engage and bring them along
• You are detail oriented and proven ability to manage multiple, cross-functional initiatives with
overlapping timelines and deliverables
• Strong project management skills and execute against plan

Preferred Qualifications

• 12 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or 8-10 years of experience with an
