Job Description

Cybersource, A Visa company is expanding its team in Europe, growing its footprint in the region and provide merchants & payment providers with the solutions needed to accelerate their business through powerful payment technology.

This sales position focuses on the identification and generation of new business opportunities across Europe, selling Cybersource’s complete portfolio of payment services to strategically important Enterprise level accounts. It is a specialist sales role that requires a high degree of commercial skill, business maturity and self-motivation as well as a proven track record in sales with qualified success in accretive revenue strategies; including pipeline conversion and improved time to revenue.

Could this be for you? What you will do, day to day

  • Lead sales engagements in a specified European Market
  • Employ defined and established methods for identifying prospective clients
  • Participate and where required lead Go-to-Market planning efforts to develop and execute on demand generation, structured sales acceleration programs and activities. This will include close collaboration with regional marketing, product marketing, global sales excellence and sales acceleration teams.
  • Employ and demonstrate Visa’s sales IDDEA methodology to identify new growth opportunities with prospects
  • Drive business development initiatives in joint collaboration with Visa, contributing to merchants success through bundling Visa’s diverse set of acceptance solutions on top of CyberSource
  • Accurately forecast opportunity bookings and revenue growth through the tools provided by Visa
  • Influence sales direction for the regions assigned (verticals, target merchants) and input into product roadmap using market knowledge & quantifiable facts
  • Facilitate and lead local pipeline meetings with the relevant local collaborators, including those at executive level ensuring the markets are kept up to date on where they are against score card measures and how CyberSource are working to close any gap
  • Lead virtual teams to drive successful sales
  • Mentor Cybersource's next generation of talent to achieve success

Qualifications

Cybersource is looking to develop the best commercial team in region. The individual in this role will deliver sales excellence as well as a depth of technical and problem-solving skills to deliver solutions that are fundamental to our clients’ growth.

Our ideal candidate will bring:

  • Strong sales financial competence related to deal structures and value to execution to the merchant ecosystem.
  • High level of problem-solving skills and ability to think creatively
  • Excitement about the digital payments space and the opportunities it crafts for sellers and buyers
  • Experience of and good knowledge of working with merchants & acquirers across Europe
  • Confidence in of leading internal partners to deliver commercial goals
  • Ability to drive a collaborative culture with key cross functional partners
  • Project management skills
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to travel globally if required
  • Fluency in English with another European language is a bonus
  • Experience selling technical products to one of more of merchants, acquirers, ISVs, PSPs and /or Platforms.
