Job Description

Visa is looking for a highly motivated, energetic and passionate business operations lead with a passion for innovating and shaping the next generation of payment products.

You will solve business problems, identify opportunities and create roadmaps for our internal and external partners resulting in payment volume and revenue growth. You will bring strong analytical skills, business processes and operations rigor. You will answer business process questions, solve business challenges, and create client implementation strategies to enhance overall client experiences. You will leverage data to position, shape and capitalize on emerging customer and market needs, closely collaborate with business leaders to understand the strategic initiatives of the business, work with stakeholders to align strategic goals to actionable roadmaps and create client facing materials that identify solutions and actions to drive payment volume. 

Responsibilities

  • Identify business processes that need to be established to scale and support the product, work with cross functional teams to design and establish these processes to manage the health of the product and success measures.
  • Prepare material for internal business reviews, client facing meetings and finance reviews
  • Partner with team members in the preparation and delivery of materials, analysis and processes for internal and external presentations
  • Extensive collaboration and teamwork with key internal Visa partners to build and enhance client implementation plans and strategies
  • Review and understand client service needs and integration processes, work with teams to establish a support structure for country launches
  • Establish processes pertaining to Visa rules for the product, work with necessary teams to publish and/or update product rules for as necessary
  • Build expertise in sales pipelines and be the custodian of reporting analysis and pipeline management

 

This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office two days a week, Tuesdays and Wednesdays with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% of the time based on business needs.

Qualifications

BASIC Qualifications
5 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or at least 2 years of work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 0 years of work experience with a PhD

PREFERRED Qualifications
• 5 - 7 years of work experience in business management or consulting of business operations and a bachelor’s degree, or 3 years of similar experience with an advanced degree (e.g., Masters, MBA, JD, MD), or 1 year of similar experience with a PhD
• Experience with GTM strategy, planning and execution
• Background in payments (BNPL payments a plus) and product operations with a proven record of scaling products
• Proven leadership capabilities including strong thought leadership, effective decision making, and ability to drive for results
• Strong communication skills, ability to communicate at all levels of the organization
• Excellent problem-solving skills with a strong focus on client success. Comfortable making decisions with limited data, structuring abstract problem statements and defining solution path for execution
• Demonstrated thought leadership and the aptitude to think creatively and identify new ways to innovate. Demonstrated passion for driving payments innovation

Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.

Travel Requirements: This position requires travel 5-10% of the time.

Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting.  The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.
