Job Description

Position Summary

As Product Manager for Commerce & Cloud (ISV) you are at the forefront of consumer and merchant choice for payment acceptance.  The role requires a strong knowledge of commerce, global market trends and a focus on the ecommerce technology ecosystem. You’d be responsible for executing CyberSource’s Commerce & Cloud ISV Solutions strategy, serving small, mid-market and enterprise businesses. 

You would be delivering and supporting integrations/Cartridges/Plugins to help merchants take advantage of CyberSource and Visa solutions in the most simplistic and innovative ways.  You will manage the entire product lifecycle for both Internal or 3rd Party Build Projects from strategic design and planning thorough rollout activities.

You will be responsible for the successful delivery of new integrations, products and functionality for all regions, business areas and strategic initiatives and measured by the successful improvements to merchant adoption rates, increased speed to market and ROI, transaction growth, revenue figures and merchant adoption metrics.

This position will be working with a cross-functional team across different business lines in Visa's Merchant Digital Products group dispersed globally and will be based in the US (Reporting Manager – UK)

Job Scope

  • Execute a robust and comprehensive Commerce Platform and Technology Integration strategy for Visa's Merchant Digital product lines, to support the broad range of merchant and partner use cases
  • Contribute to the development of the overall product strategy, product roadmap, and business plan
  • Work closely with other Product owners, Solutions, Marketing, Sales, Customers, Partners and Engineering teams to define and develop detailed product/ business requirements
  • Lead and (where applicable) Perform User Acceptance Testing and ensure requirements were understood and implemented as requested
  • Ensure projects and products are delivered in line with Visa’s quality and security standards. Catalogue, manage and maintain products in line with these standards and processes. 
  • Evaluate new product opportunities and create proposals for products to enhance and scale the ability to deliver merchant enablement efficiently.
  • Influence product and technology strategy and direction (roadmap),
  • Manage Vendor engagement with internal and external 3rd Party services related to Technology Integrations as well as with the Key Technology Partners in support of the Alliances Team.
  • Work with Product Management Leadership and other Product Managers to help define and drive go to market efforts across all existing and new integrations to maximise new Product ROI.
  • Evangelize the power of technology driven enablement across the customer facing organisations to ensure consistency of knowledge across the wider business. This includes driving enablement delivery, internal knowledgebase management, asset management, working with marketing on message delivery and updates.
  • Implement strategy for the development and distribution for Technology Platform driven enablement services for key external partners such as Banks, Resellers, and Development ecosystems.
  • Actively prioritize product back-log , pre-planning, prioritization and user story mapping sessions
  • Be comfortable to own, manage and report on portfolio of projects at any one time confidently.
  • US Based with global travel requirements

Flex Work Arrangement: This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office two days a week, Tuesdays and Wednesdays with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% of the time based on business needs.

This role can be based from our Atlanta, GA office or our Austin, TX office. 

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications
• 5 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or at least 2 years of work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 0 years of work experience with a PhD

Preferred Qualifications
• 6 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or 4 or more years of relevant experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or up to 3 years of relevant experience with a PhD
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience including merchant/partner management experience a plus
• Demonstrable progressive experience in Payments
• Strong product management experience in mobile, or payments, ecommerce, OMS, ERP or similar responsible for value proposition definition and communications, product Experience using/implementing or building plugins/extensions or frameworks a plus.
• Adept in Agile and other development methodologies
• Strong project management skills and demonstrated ability to coordinate multiple parties to deliver market facing products (Prince 2 Qualified an advantage)
• differentiation, cost/benefit analysis, and executive presentations

Strong working knowledge of the ecommerce and commerce industries with partner, technology partnerships preferable:

This position is open to locations in Austin, TX and Atlanta, GA.
