What’s it all about?

Visa Consulting and Analytics (VC&A) is the consulting arm of Visa, and drives tangible, impactful and financial results for Visa’s network clients, including both financial services and merchants. Drawing on our expertise in strategy consulting, data analytics, brand management, marketing, operational and macroeconomics, Visa Consulting and Analytics solves the most strategic problems for our clients.

Visa Managed Services (VMS) is an augmentation of Visa’s consultancy offering, supporting the execution and implementation of recommendations to help scale competitive advantage and operate to succeed in the digital age. We are looking for an experienced Senior Project Manager - VMS to supplement the Visa Managed Services (VMS) team across important Visa clients (the “Client”) in the Netherlands.

  • Develop strategies to help our clients in growing their business in payments and beyond
  • Drive strategic initiatives at Visa’s key clients in the Netherlands
  • Manage the delivery of high-quality consultancy engagements
  • Help to intensify the business relationships between Visa and its key clients
  • Handle aspects of Data/Operation/Strategy/Business Development/Marketing/Sales/Product/Growth/Digital concurrently as necessary

What we expect of you, day to day:

  • Leading the deployed Visa team and project managing the delivery strategies of developed solutions with a true entrepreneurial spirit
  • Drive the delivery of assigned tasks/projects in professional and timely manner with high quality
  • Provide high level visibility and drive strategic initiatives for VMS programmes, reporting progress into Client's management as well as Central Europe (CE) Visa Consulting and Analytics (VCA) and VMS functions, maintaining governance and oversight
  • Coordination and active management of the VMS team (Visa and external supplier resources) within the client assuring the value delivered, meeting Visa's high standards and to client's satisfaction
  • Understand our clients' business objectives, needs, plans, etc. together with the CE Account Management Team
  • Identify opportunities and improvements to grow the business of our clients
  • Develop and propose appropriate project approaches and business solutions to the client
  • Ensure collaboration and overall integration between programme tracks
  • Leverage Visa's innovation, product and data capabilities to further grow our clients' business by working together with the VMS / VCA and product teams
  • Coordination with the Visa Hub teams in terms of best practices and state-of-the-art transactional data analysis
  • Provide Thought Leadership knowledge and projects regarding the future of payment and retail banking to our client
  • Build and retain Visa Consulting relationships with our client
  • Generate ideas and opportunities for future engagements with the client

 

Qualifications

 

What we’re after…

  • Deep project/programme management, financial and budget management in technology, technology consulting, and technology processes
  • Solid understanding of delivery techniques, methodologies, and best practices. Hands-on experience with Waterfall and Agile frameworks (e.g., Scrum, Kanban)
  • Substantial experience in retail banking and/or payment card industry and/or merchant retail business desirable
  • Strong sales orientation, substantial experience with pre-sales and selling major projects/ideas to senior management
  • Experience of working within a client consulting environment highly desirable
  • Excellent analytical skills
  • Comprehensive knowledge of tools and the use of data insights for business growth in a digital and technology-driven environment
  • Excellent client relationship management skills (also on senior executive level and across all levels of an organisation)
  • Excellent sales orientation, experience selling major projects/ideas to senior management
  • Fluent in Dutch and English - both verbally and written
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills (written and verbal) including an ability to comprehend and convey technical information
  • High levels of integrity and business ethics
  • Willingness to maintain professional development
