Team Summary

The Visa Business Solutions (VBS) team is a world-class commercial organization experiencing tremendous, double-digit growth as we expand into new payment flows and continue to grow our core card solutions. This is an incredibly exciting opportunity to join our team as we expand to bring payment solutions and associated services to clients in Thailand. Our global clients and partners deploy our solutions to serve the needs of Small Businesses, Middle Market Clients, Large Corporate Clients and Governments. We work closely with Financial Institutions, Issuers, Merchants, FinTechs and other ecosystem players to deliver these services. We believe that the market is at an inflection point whereby Visa can play a larger role in building and delivering solutions around the world. Our focus within Business Solutions is to identify needs, assess opportunities and options and quickly act upon our vision while ensuring strong execution.

What a Director, Visa Business Solutions does at Visa:

Visa is looking for a dedicated product specialist to join our Business Solutions team in Thailand and be responsible for driving the P/L, business growth, solution innovation, portfolio deepening and new client adoption.

As a natural collaborator, you will develop a network of key cross functional stakeholders including various product teams, sales, client support and work directly with clients and implementation partners to expand the usage of Visa’s Commercial Capabilities. Supporting business development activities, project management, helping shape engagements - including and not limited to the following: assess customer business needs and identify applicable functional capabilities required, helping them add various capabilities to achieve success aligned with trends and opportunities.

This role requires you to:

• Develop and own product expertise over time to proactively advocate, as a subject matter expert to clients, partners and internal stakeholders which will require a deep understanding of product functionality, and roadmap, regulatory and compliance issues, and the technology and operational environment of target customers, including the major operational risk issues.

• Drive client decision making through production of tailored presentations and client analysis

• Plan, build and execute business plans to meet Visa Business Solution, Thailand’s budget

• Ensure compliance with products, brand, and risk management standards

• Collect and organize market intelligence and client specific feedback from financial institutions /fintech’s and businesses to contribute to the strategic global roadmap for prioritization.

• Effectively navigate problem solving opportunities which vary widely in nature.

• Engage with clients to gain feedback on new product offerings for continuous improvements

• Identify opportunities for client performance optimization of products and services

• Transition products and services, once developed, to core support and implementations teams to reach market scalability goals and define production support framework

• Leverage appropriate Visa assets and resources to provide an exceptional implementation &integration experience to clients.

• Build and maintain relationships with internal key stakeholders.

VBS is unbundling Visa’s commercial capabilities and giving fintech’s and Visa Clients open access to underlying payment capabilities. We believe this will lead to the creation of entirely new commerce experiences with Visa technology integrated to enable greater security, scale and convenience when it comes time to pay.

This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office two days a week, Tuesdays and Wednesdays with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% of the time based on business needs.

Qualifications

What you will need:
You are a problem solver, good at communication and has an acumen for commecialising technology, you embrace it! Smart, driven and want to make a difference in the world? You’ll fit right in!

• Minimum 12 years’ experience involving product management, presales consulting and/or launching new products (preferably with commercial segments)
• Skilled in designing comprehensive solutions that are relevant to the client's needs
• A Proven record of accomplishment of success with evidence of supporting high performance teams to deliver transformational change.
• Strong verbal communication and presentation skills that can effectively engage and influence closing an opportunity with market sales teams as a subject matter expert.
• Ability to work in a matrix environment with multiple stakeholders and create project teams with cross functional teams
• Keen attention to detail and organized and committed to execution and continuous product enhancement
• A proactive and collaborative problem-solver who can work independently with a broad range of internal and external stakeholders including senior executives.
• Understanding the evolving landscape of payments and Fintechs and the impact it has in financial services


What will also help:
• Experience in client engagement in product management / specialist roles
• Demonstrated ability to research, understand business process and to propose ideas to deliver solutions
• Has worked in SME or Large Corporate focused roles, adept at gathering required internal approvals, managing launch plans and communications. This requires the ability to own and deliver a plan or to work collaboratively on larger projects.
• Understand the macro trends impacting payments, banks and financial services and assimilate the information to develop value propositions and execute client adoption
