Job Description

Visa's European Acceptance Solutions team are charged with forging and maintaining strategic partnerships with Payment Enablers and Acquirers that help power Visa’s Acceptance Solutions. The team manages relationships executed with ISVs/FI’s/Acquirers/Processors to enable these Clients to use an array of Visa Cybersource products and services. The team is also responsible for orchestrating Sales Enablement for our Clients to drive merchant acquisition, volume and revenue.

You will be a highly motivated, results focused individual serving as a key member of a newly formed EU Acceptance Solutions team. Your role will see you influencing and managing the Visa Cybersource’s relationships with ISVs, FIs, consultants and Payfacs and you are the partners primary point of commercial and operational contact. This position is responsible for deepening Strategic and valuable client relationships and continuously adding customer value by executing on the Visa Cybersource strategy.

 

As part of this role, you will:

  • Take a pro-active approach to contribute in multidimensional projects including strategy development and critical implementation of payments Strategy both for the partner and Visa Cybersource.
  • Partner closely with client executives to influence strategies for merchant acquisition, payment volume growth and adoption of valuable services that drives the client’s & Visa Cybersource’s strategy.
  • Align with Visa’s product and MS&A organisations to champion the Cybersource value proposition for key pivotal initiatives.
  • Provide & support reporting around Acceptance solutions as the need arises from time to time
  • Consult on and implement, with the client an innovative sales enablement strategy
  • Pro-actively engage on and track client’s pipeline to be able to support an accurate forecasting of revenue to Visa Cybersource.
  • Use Visa’s sales IDDEA methodology to identify new growth opportunities with partners
  • Use strong commercial competence that provides client insight/performance/risks and key opportunity.
  • Prioritize and implement strategic account planning and activity.
  • Identify SWOT faced by the client, build initiatives that will solve our mutual business objectives, identify and deploy Visa & Cybersource solutions and resources to support the deepening of the relationship
  • Devise and manage a client-by-client strategy that grows revenue through measurable metrics and activity.
  • Have a strong desire to understand the client business model and the role they play in the payments chain.
  • Prepare and present sales and pricing proposals and as required, negotiate contractual agreements to expand the scope of Visa Cybersource products and services
  • Keep other industry influencers such as consultants up to date on CyberSource’s value proposition

Qualifications

  • Strong Sales and Account Management experience in Partnership roles with demonstrable experience in the FinTech sector.
  • A Track record in of relationship management and sales development experience to drive upsell opportunity and influence revenue growth of your individual clients and overall portfolio.
  •  Extensive knowledge of the payments and fraud industry with a strong understanding of the industry landscape in Europe
  • Demonstrated ability to Partner with peers in other functional areas (e.g., marketing, analytics, risk, innovation) and across global regional teams to implement projects in ways that demonstrate the breadth and depth of Visa’s Cybersource’s resources
  • Advanced ability to consult and work closely with a client’s C-level executives to present Visa
  • Cybersource’s strategic vision and negotiate effectively on behalf of the company
  • Ability to work independently within a complex and competitive environment, to drive rigorous, fact-based recommendations to collaborators and to balance multiple initiatives at once
  • Demonstrated track record of planning, managing and closing a complex, competitive sales effort.
  • Standout Ability to present and engage with senior partners both Internally and Client facing
  • Ability to quickly assess an opportunity’s potential, demonstrating fact-based analysis and industry experience and being able to demonstrate a drive to closing the sale
  •  Displays a strong dedication to Team success derived from qualities such as being a great teammate, having a hunger to win, a drive to excel and deliver on goals
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the proven ability to influence and communicate effectively across regional and functional lines
  • Work from home or Visa office (Paddington / Reading). Available to travel up to 50%, with some European/international travel
