Job Description

Team Summary:

Visa’s Client Marketing team is a client facing function under Marketing organization that drives issuers’ Value-Added-Service (VAS) initiatives to grow Visa portfolio, expands Visa’s preference and user base through re-investment of issuers’ incentives, and partners with Visa other key functions on the ongoing engagement with issuers from headquarter to branch levels. 

The team is responsible for engaging issuers on Visa exclusive marketing efforts from pitching the investment to optimizing the investment impact, ranging from strategy advisory, campaign planning and implementation, digital transformation to Sponsorship activation, to help ensure Visa to be the foreign card scheme choice for issuers and their cardholders in China.

What a Client Marketing Analyst does at Visa:

Our Client Marketing Analysts will support the client marketing team on the VAS engagement with issuers including centrally manage the marketing processes and support designated projects as needed.

In doing so, you will develop an all-round perspective of the marketing partnership Visa works with the issuers, and the payment ecosystem more broadly. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Lead analysis and reporting on the co-marketing pipeline, delivering insights and commentary to optimize performance
  • Lead analysis on specific areas of co-marketing activity, to help identify opportunities
  • Support the client marketing team with marketing processes from all stages including identifying opportunities, obtaining issuers’ internal approvals to post-closure of the marketing projects
  • Work as the primary point of contact for Global/AP/China marketing systems for client marketing projects
  • Manage vendor work statement, partner contracts, legal and compliance attestation, control group review to ensure smooth project launch and auditing green
  • Be an active participant to help prepare client pitches
  • Manage any ongoing operational concerns related to client marketing projects, such as Compliance or Controllership policies

Qualifications

What you will need:
• 3 years’ marketing or marketing operation experience in technology platforms
• Business acumen with excellent project management skills and strong communication skills
• A fast learner with ability to partner and manage/navigate through multiple
disciplines and organizational groups
• A highly motivated self-starter, with multi-tasking competencies
• Bachelor’s degree
• Proficiency in both oral and written English
