Job Description

Due to COVID-19 travel and entry restrictions, the Internship Program is only available to candidates with the right to work in Singapore. We will review and adjust this approach as appropriate for future programs.

The Visa Internship Program is the biggest step you can take to joining our Revolution of Payments Innovation. Throughout the 12 weeks at Visa, you will take on meaningful work, get executive exposure, engage in out-of-the-box problem solving, and participate in social and community service activities. From technology to business, we are looking for people who can innovate, collaborate, and drive Visa into the next era of an already rapidly evolving digital marketplace. If you’re up for the challenge, please consider joining our team. We are looking for interns to join us in the following functions:

Product & Solutions
Payments are changing with new players, experiences, and expectations. Over half of Visa’s volume is now digital, and many market trends are affecting how Visa and our clients do business. For that reason, the Product team is focused on a holistic product strategy that allows Visa to ship products faster that are.

Merchant Sales & Acquiring
Visa's Merchant Sales & Acquiring (MS&A) is focused on ensuring that merchants and acquirers prefer Visa. They are responsible for strategy, partnerships, and solutions deployment with all players in the seller-enabler ecosystem. This includes partnerships with acquirers, payment service providers and intermediaries such as payment facilitators and aggregators, merchants, BigTech platforms and FinTechs.

Cybersource provide digital payment solutions to merchants across the globe to optimize revenue, fight fraud and accept payments in a smarter way.       

Visa Business Solution
Visa Business Solutions (VBS) delivers payment experiences that enable business to thrive through products that provide better cash flow, productivity, administrative efficiency, control, and acceptance. Our clients and partners deploy our solutions to serve the needs of Small Businesses, Middle Market Clients, Large Corporate Clients and Governments.  

Regional Sales
Visa's Fintech Partnerships team in Singapore is a client facing organization that drives Visa’s public digital narrative and ensures that Visa is the partner of choice for Fintechs in Singapore. Through direct relationship with Fintech Clients, the team drives incremental payment volume and revenue through non-traditional partners in the Fintech ecosystem, and work with Fintech partners to drive new use cases and payments flows in Singapore market.

The Regional Sales Excellence team identifies growth areas for the business and drives focused execution of key priorities across a very diverse set of objectives. The team also incubates path-breaking ideas and works with cross-functional partners to bring them to market.

The Business Planning & Operations team generate the leading gross and net revenue amidst the most developed and constantly evolving payment markets in South East Asia.

Qualifications

  • Penultimate year students who are available to work full-time from May to August 2022
  • Pursuing a degree in Business Administration; Communication, Finance, Accountancy, Marketing, or a related field
  • Proficiency with Excel, Word, and PowerPoint 
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, strong verbal, and written communications skills – capable of developing well-structured communications and delivering presentations to audiences
  • Research and Analytical skills – the ability to gather and interpret data sources for problem-solving and execution of concepts and solutions 
  • Team player, self-motivated and the ability to work independently
