Job Description

Visa is looking for highly motivated, energetic and passionate technical product operations manager with a passion for innovating and shaping Visa Installment Solutions.

You will bring strong analytical skills, business processes, operations rigor, and knowledge of API systems.  You will develop and implement metrics and KPIs to monitor systems and client performance, and surface tactics to optimize both.  You will use data to position, shape and capitalize on emerging customer and market needs within the BNPL space.  You will also deliver reporting, insight and analysis into the performance of the technology services (APIs, microservices, batch file infrastructure) relied on by our clients. This position will work closely with the Platform team to accomplish these tasks, as well as regularly engage with core business and cross-functional partners.

 

Responsibilities

  • Develop and track KPIs, SLAs and OLAs to measure service, process and operational performance
  • Delivering analysis and insight into the performance of Visa Installment services
  • Own and maintain Visa Installments dashboard and its roadmap for features and enhancements
  • Engage with Global Data Science team for ongoing and ad hoc reporting requests
  • Work with respective cross functional teams to design and establish the processes, routines, and dashboards to manage the health of the product and performance against success measures
  • Create specific strategies and action plans (by client, region, or market) to improve product performance and drive Visa PV  
  • Own incident management processes and ensure they are adapted appropriately as product continues to scale
  • Prepare material for internal business and finance reviews as well as client-facing meetings

Work Hours

  • This position requires the incumbent to be available during core business hours
  • This role at times requires off-hours responsiveness (for example when the executive is in a different time zone)

 

Travel Requirements

  • This position requires the incumbent to travel for work up to 20% of the time

 

Physical Requirements

  • This position will be performed in an office setting.  The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers, and reach with hands and arms.

Qualifications

BASIC Qualifications:
• 4 years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or at least 2 years of work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 0 years of work experience with a PhD degree

PREFERRED Qualifications:
• 5 - 7 years of work experience and a Bachelor’s Degree in business management, consulting, of business operations or 3 years of work experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 1 year of experience with a PhD
• Experience in performance monitoring and related KPIs, as well as development and implementation of SLAs, SLOs, etc.
• Deep background in payments, BNPL payments, and product management with a proven record of scaling products a plus
• Customer champion with a proven track record of developing and executing a product vision for successful products based on deep understanding of customer needs
• Proven leadership capabilities including strong thought leadership, effective decision making, and ability to drive for results
• Strong communication skills; ability to communicate at all levels of the organization
• Excellent problem-solving skills with a strong focus on client success. Comfortable making decisions with limited data, structuring abstract problem statements and defining solution path for execution
• Demonstrated thought leadership and the aptitude to think creatively and identify new ways to innovate. Demonstrated passion for driving payments innovation

This position is open to locations in San Francisco, CA, Foster City, CA or remote with the ability to travel occasionally.
