Job Description

The Security Products team at Visa focuses on delivering the fraud detection and prevention solutions that enable every good transaction to be approved, every bad transaction to be declined, all with a seamless customer experience.   Payment Authentication is a critical component of this vision, and at Visa we’ve been pioneers in this space with the 3DS authentication standards.   Through Visa Secure, we not only develop these standards with industry partners, but build the supporting services and drive adoption in our ecosystem.
As part of the Visa Secure Product group, you are the go-to-person for 3-D Secure expertise, features and functions, both internally and client-facing. Your role will be to focus on the Visa Secure operations to ensure healthy operation, transparency, and resilience of the system for the Visa Secure program for cross-functional teams-development, operations, support and testing3DS ecosystem stakeholders (3DS service providers, clients, vendors). Be a leader in operationalizing Visa’s 3-D Secure 2.0 infrastructure.


Essential Functions
•    Further mature the Visa Secure operations for directory services, monitoring, and testing.
•    Explore creative ways for greater internal Visa engagement with cross functional teams across technology, support, testing, and regional teams. 
•    Refine and enhance existing 3DS tools for internal stakeholders. 
•    Develop capability to monitor the operations of Visa Secure authentication and VisaNet authorization 
•    Drive the efforts to operationalize Visa’s 3-D Secure 2.0 infrastructure to include troubleshooting, interoperability management and reporting
•    Develop documentation for all 3-D Secure related flows and product enhancements to ensure that requirements have the supporting details for solid product development execution
•    Develop “subject matter expertise” on the EMVCo 3-D Secure 2.X specifications to being able to interpret the spec and apply the knowledge to actual implementations
•    Provide technical support and consultation to issuers, acquirers, processors, merchants and 3-D Secure vendors
 

Qualifications

• +8 years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or +5 years of work experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters/MBA/JD/MD) or a history of delivering results that blow us away
• 5+ of experience, preferably within a technology or financial services company
• Demonstrated quantitative & qualitative reasoning skills through prior projects
• Prior experience as a business analyst/system analyst is a huge plus
• Comfortable working in an agile environment and with cross-functional teams
• Strong knowledge of EMV 3DS, 3DS 1.0.2, or similar Identity / federation standards
• Must have the ability and willingness to learn
• Strong analytical skills and detail oriented, demonstrating understanding of data and product performance
• Understanding of payment processing and payment landscape a plus

This position may require occasional travel to client sites and Visa locations.

Travel Requirements: This position requires travel 5-10% of the time.

Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting.  The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.
