Job Description

RESPONSIBILITIES

Card Present Connect is a Toolkit to enable card present payments and value-added solutions from Cybersource that connects acquirers and sellers with payment technology providers to power unified commerce experiences. The vision and goal for this leadership role is to turn Card Present Connection into a true self- serve platform, delighting partners & merchants with touch-less developer experience

  • Lead Card Present Connect product efforts on Cybersource platform serving enterprise merchants, acquirers and technology partners.
  • Shape Cybersource platform as the preferred Card Present processing platform for technology partners all around the world.
  • Manage a team of product managers to prioritize, plan, deliver and commercialize Card Present Connect capabilities. 
  • Develop integrated roadmaps for Card Present Connect by working with other product lines necessary for delivering solutions to clients.
  • Partner with Card Present technical leadership and product development teams in delivering new feature functionality to market.
  • Evangelize Card Present Connect product to make it best-in-class option for partners and for other Visa initiatives.
  • Manage product investment budgets and forecasts. Lead continuous product planning and portfolio management in support of global business strategy and operations.
  • Drive product portfolio management including synthesizing market needs, product vision and strategy, roadmap creation, communication, and customer enablement.
  • Prioritize, plan and oversee new product introduction initiatives that support the business strategy and enable growth.
  • Actively contribute to the vision for the future of the Cybersource product portfolio and inspire customers, partners and employees.

Qualifications

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• 12 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or at least 10 years of work
experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters/MBA /JD/MD)
• 10+ years’ experience in Product Strategy and/or Management with increasing levels of
demonstrated people-leadership responsibilities.
• Specific industry experience in omni commerce and with responsibility for managing Card Present
payment solutions including distribution across a variety of devices and implementation methods.
• Experience in evangelizing, building and commercializing Card Present products and solutions at
scale.
• Understanding payments landscape and ability to translate product strategy into executable plans.
• Understanding of APIs, Developer Center portals, Partner onboarding automation, Terminal
payment applications and L3 EMV certifications”.
• Experience with development, deployment and payment solutions within a merchant or acquirer
context to meet particular Key Performance Indicator objectives.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• 15 or more years of experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or 12 years of experience with an
Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, or MD); PhD with 9+ years of experience
• In-depth knowledge of payments domain with the ability to identify potential synergies gained
through partnership offerings, or market gaps.
• Deep understanding of the Card Present ecosystem and the global value chain of various players
• Strong track record in working with Card Present products that have had tangible and quantifiable
benefits to clients
• Able to build relationships and gain exposure to internal and external client leadership teams
through demonstrating key domain expertise.

Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department

Travel Requirements: This position requires travel 5-10% of the time.

Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting.  The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.
