Job Description

The Security and Risk Products team at Visa focuses on delivering the fraud detection and prevention solutions that enable every good transaction to be approved, every bad transaction to be declined, all with a seamless customer experience.   We are looking for product leaders that are passionate about innovation and developing solutions that help identify and mitigate financial fraud as well as maximize approvals of legitimate transactions.

The role will focus on evaluating early-stage market opportunities for security and risk products and solutions.  Reporting to the Director, Global Risk Products, this individual will work with experts throughout the company and industry to support the identification, prioritization, and development of new fraud detection and authentication products.  Responsibilities include assessing individual product opportunities, building new business initiative proposals, and supporting business case, market sizing, and funding development.

Visa is looking for an individual with an early track record of success in product, with an attention to detail, and the desire and aptitude to develop their strategic product management skills.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications

  • 2 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD, or PhD)


Preferred Qualifications

  • 3 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or more than 2 years of work experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD)
  • 2+ years in product or relevant functional management (sales, marketing, technology, or analytics)
  • Analytical, organized, accurate, and detail-oriented with fact-based consultative discipline
  • Superior interpersonal and communication skills, including oral, written, and presentation skills.
  • Experience in consumer payments, risk, and/or enterprise/cybersecurity software
  • Understand and able to research market trends, competition, and user requirements (primary and secondary research methods)

Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department

Travel Requirements: This position requires travel 5-10% of the time.
