Team Summary

Visa's Global Buyer and Seller Solutions – Connected Commerce team is looking for a highly motivated Sr. Associate Product Manager (Analyst) to join the Tap to Phone business. A business aimed to build and develop the ecosystem to provide software-based technologies that deliver delightful experiences for the entire ecosystem i.e., sellers, buyers, issuers, acquirers, and technology partners in developed and emerging markets.

The Associate Product Manager will be responsible for the execution of the global operations for Tap to Phone. The role will lead the business operations for Tap to Phone by collaborating closely with the Tap to Phone Regional and Functional leads to ensure an optimized program offering for Tap to Phone business partners. The role will need a comprehensive approach to program effectiveness by focusing on program processes, distribution channels, partner engagement, customer journey, and client support.

This position interacts with many global and cross-functional stakeholders, including various Product, Technology, Client Support, Data Analytics, and Business Function leads. This role is global and will need to balance regional and global opportunities to achieve overall program objectives. Accomplishing this will require a nuanced ability to collaborate across a complex and highly matrixed organization.

Essential Functions

  • Define and drive strategic operational continuity and improvements across the Tap to Phone program.
  • Determines business processes and responsibilities throughout the working team to lead cross functional efforts.
  • Collaborates with stakeholders to identify needs, priorities, implications of tradeoffs, to determine operational priorities for the Tap to Phone program.
  • Manage the end-to-end business process for partner engagement and solution certification and approval.
  • Drives business processes through working sessions to assess gaps, roadblock, and bottlenecks in line with the defined business process methodology.
  • Apply operational efficiencies through project management and governance with tools like RACI and process maps.
  • Leads planning sessions to define strategic, operational, and organizational improvements to enhanced optimize the partner journey throughout the different interaction points.
  • Diagnose process improvement opportunities and provide enhancement feedback based on process metrics.
  • Analyze difficult and/or complex issues and introduce new approaches to create a structured approach to introducing improvements.
  • Conducts data analysis to assess operational performance and to identify improvement opportunities.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications
• 2 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD, or PhD)

Preferred Qualifications
• 3 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or more than 2 years of work experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD)
• 2+ years in product or relevant functional management (sales, marketing or technology)
• Customer-oriented mindset, knowledgeable in all client, customer and partner roles
• Superior interpersonal and communication skills, including oral, written, and presentation skills.
• Support the development of the product roadmap to define and support the product goals and strategies
• Knowledgeable on Visa’s products and support the product team in driving the development of product features and functionality, leveraging the strong foundation of existing capabilities where appropriate
• Understand and able to research market trends, competition, and user requirements (primary and secondary research methods)
• Collaborate with cross-functional internal Visa teams e.g., regional teams, technology, client services, other Visa product teams, risk, and other applicable groups) to define and execute a cohesive strategy related to a specific product or feature
• Works closely with manager and leadership to complete projects
