Job Description

The Data, Security and Identity Products (DSIP) team at Visa focuses on developing data centric products to drive better outcomes for customers and clients and accelerate revenue growth and the adoption of Visa value-added services globally. Our products specifically cover the following areas: benchmarking and operations, marketing, underwriting, authorization optimization, and seamless authentication.

We are creating a sales operations function with the primary purpose to achieving our revenue goals with more reliable data and insights from our sales activities across the globe. These sales insights will enable the sales operations team to have the clarity needed to do smarter sales planning.

We are seeking a Sales Operations – Sr. Analyst to join our commercialization team. This role will support:

  • Build better book of business – leverage data driven insights to accurately segment customers and build more equitable books of business
  • More accurately size opportunities – up to date view of size and growth of opportunities
  • Have greater confidence in total addressable market – validate opportunity sizing and easily compare relative opportunities of markets, regions, across products
  • Advise sales where to focus their attention/energy – leverage data and insights to enable sales to target more effectively, increasing win rate

In addition, the analyst will generate and analyze key business performance metrics, provide weekly/monthly/quarterly updates to executives, track against business goals, and identify gaps and opportunities for business improvements by analyzing data and facts. The position requires sales experience, the ability to apply strong analytical and critical thinking skills to solve business problems, and ability to quickly arrive at recommendations that drive corporate priorities.

Specific responsibilities include:

  • Generate key performance metrics needed for weekly, monthly, and ad hoc executive reviews and assist with development of presentations for executive review
  • Use data and facts to inform:
    • Target customer segments for products
    • Valid opportunities by market (within regions)
    • Specific opportunities that would product greater sales success
  • Identify the opportunities most important for growth, to remove barriers for product adoption, engagement, and retention
  • Design and implement automated reporting and processes that help us scale and increase business intelligence
  • Provide regions and channel partners analytics, insights, best practices to drive end-user engagement and retention
  • Collaborate with cross-function teams such as Product, Go-to-Market, Finance, Tech, Talent Acquisition, and Regions for reporting, operation, and strategy work streams
  • Continually explore opportunities for improvement, in how we work and in the work product team produces
  • Understand the underlying data architecture supporting Sales Operations and how to use it to report on business performance
  • Responsible for the continuous integration and onboarding of CRM. Ensure Product teams and regions are following best practices

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications

  • 5 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or at least 2 years of work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 0 years of work experience with a PhD


Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree or 4 or more years of relevant experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or up to 3 years of relevant experience with a PhD
  • 6 or more years of work experience in sales, sales operations, or business analysis
  • Proficient in PowerPoint and Excel and savvy with developing presentations for large audiences, building workflows, reports etc.
  • Basic knowledge of SQL, Python, or similar programming languages; ability and interest to learn
  • Flexible and creative thinker with the ability to define business tradeoffs, generate out-of-the-box solutions and manage uncertainty
  • Strong interpersonal, leadership, and communication skills to influence and instill confidence with stakeholders at all levels and in all functions/geographies
  • Analytical, organized, accurate, and detail-oriented with fact-based consultative discipline
  • Team oriented, collaborative, diplomatic, and results driven, with proven success over a wide variety of functional business problem
  • Familiarity with CRM and data management
