Job Description

Reporting to the Director, Global Product Business Strategy & Operations, this role will drive operational reporting and analysis for the Product organization as part of the Business Operations & Go-to-Market team.

We are seeking a Product Operations Analyst who enjoys digging into data to drive operational performance, both globally and regionally, in a complex, matrixed environment. The ideal candidate will be a self-motivated, structured, analytical thinker and highly collaborative team player who is proactive at identifying and resolving issues. S/he is thoughtful and curious with a desire to make an impact.

Responsibilities

How you will make an impact:

  • Drive analytics to support Global Product executives by providing actionable insights to drive data-driven business decisions by analyzing business drivers and trends. Identify opportunities most important for growth, to remove barriers for product adoption, engagement and retention.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional and regional stakeholders to collect and analyze data
  • Deliver reporting & analysis including executive reporting, goal cards, product pipeline performance, and other ad hoc reports
  • Support development and scaling new business performance dashboards. Implement automation to enable scale.
  • Reinforce adherence to metric definitions and data sources across all teams and regions
  • Maintain data integrity and become the single point of truth for our executive scorecards, reporting and dashboards
  • Continuously explore opportunities to make dashboard development, delivery and maintenance more efficient to deliver better end user experience

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications 

  • 2+ years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or an Advanced Degree (e.g., Masters, MBA, JD, MD, or PhD)

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • 3+ years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or more than 2 years of work experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD)
  • 2 years of experience in finance, analytics, measurement, or related quantitative field
  • Advanced Tableau, SQL, Hadoop, Microsoft Excel skills; Python and PowerPoint skills are a plus
  • Comfortable navigating Hive
  • Ability to mine and analyze large sets of data and articulate trends
  • Extreme attention to detail and ownership of work product
  • Ability to work effectively with a diverse team and produce time sensitive deliverables
  • Ability to translate business concepts and ideas into an accurate, error checked model (e.g. in Excel)
  • Can conduct end-to-end analysis that includes data gathering, processing, analysis, ongoing deliverables, and presentations
  • Demonstrates basic knowledge of problem-solving methods to inform data analysis approach
  • Breaks down most problems into fundamental parts in a systemic way
  • Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders
  • Identifies grounded opportunities for strategic, operational, and organizational improvements
  • Provides subject matter expertise and quality assurance of complex data driven analytic projects
  • Contributes to determine metrics, KPIs, segments by establishing a deep understanding on strategic objectives, product features and business needs

Incumbent must make themselves available during core business hours.

Physical Requirements

This position, in future, may be performed in an office setting.  The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers, and reach with hands and arms.
