Job Description

We are actively recruiting for a candidate to support our Partnerships team within DSIP. Our partnerships team is critical to the commercialization strategy for our products. This role represents an opportunity to develop a variety of skills, including working with cross-functional teams and external partners, challenging the status quo, and problem solving to identify and close diverse growth opportunities specifically through partners. The Sr. Manager, Solutions Management will be a self-starter who is eager and determined to seek out internal and external partners, connecting them with solutions across the DSIP portfolio. This is a direct partner facing role and can be remote or located at any Visa hub office in the USA.

Specific Responsibilities will include:

  • Evangelize the products to internal stakeholders and promote partner opportunities for DSIP
  • The primary focus is to identify and drive partner opportunities to successful outcomes
  • Identify new partner Proof of Concept prospects, developing a plan of action and measures of success for product distribution and resale
  • Partner closely with internal functions (product, legal, corporate development, etc) across Visa to drive partner success and be the voice of the partner
  • Responsible for assisting with day-to-day activities, strategic meetings, cross functional collaboration to meet partner needs and drive revenue channel management
  • Take initiative to develop skills by staying current on industry trends, product knowledge and new company developments
  • Perform other job duties as required

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:
• 8 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or at least 5 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 2 years of work experience with a PhD

Preferred Qualifications:
• 9 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or 7 or more relevant years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 3 or more years of experience with a PhD
• Has functional understanding of pricing and go-to-market strategy
• Able to articulate clearly how Company’s solution resolves business issue and able to differentiate the solution over competitors
• Has proficient understanding of how to conduct market, customer, and competitive research to understand market needs.
• Identifies potential issues and risks related to a partnership and plans to address or minimize the risks
• Seen as a trusted advisor with internal teams and partners
• Has a strong knowledge of how to conduct partner segmentation, proactively identify potential partners, consider barriers to entry, and estimate market value.
• Has a solid knowledge of how products and solutions are developed from a technical standpoint.
• Excellent presentation skills, ability to communicate information and ideas clearly, coordinate multiple activities or tasks at a time, make decisions and solve problems by using logic.
• Possess excellent relationship management, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
• Ability to build relationships with partners and constantly search for new prospective partners.
• Strong leadership and communication skills to influence and instill confidence with stakeholders at all levels and in all functions/geographies
• Analytical, organized, accurate, and detail-oriented with fact-based consultative discipline
• Team oriented, collaborative, diplomatic, and results driven, with proven success over a wide variety of functional business problems
• Data, Security, and Identity industry knowledge (preferred but not required)

Additional Information

Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department

Travel Requirements: This position requires travel 5-10% of the time.

Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting.  The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.
