Job Description

Cybersource is Visa company and an industry-leader in e-commerce, digital payment processing and fraud and risk management solutions serving merchants and partners globally. Our fraud and risk management products are a strategic and high-growth opportunity driving advance use cases, data-driven insights and product innovation across industries and channels served by Cybersource.

The Marketing Manager is responsible for creating product marketing resources to support a specialized fraud and risk solution selling team by messaging how we solve our clients’ problems in a genuine and engaging style. The manager will work with cross-functional teams including sales operations, sales enablement, and product management to launch new products, execute on go-to-market strategies and collaborative on initiatives to accelerate sales. This role will translate our fraud and risk product portfolio strategy to the tactics we need to drive success in sales and marketing and to achieve results.

The Marketing Manager will be responsible for ensuring products and solutions are fully enabled and ready for market in collaboration with multiple stakeholders. This role will work with market-facing teams to discover their needs, such as collateral, training, positioning, and process improvement to bring our fraud and risk products to market. Success in this role will depend on the manager’s ability to communicate and coordinate across teams, present creative, yet practical solutions, manage multiple projects at once, and incorporate feedback with a mindset of continuous improvement.

Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build great relationships, generate consensus and promote excitement and enthusiasm for our fraud and risk solutions is critical for success. Strong written and verbal communication skills required, as is the ability to manage deadlines and meet them.  Above all, this person must intrinsically be a champion and steward for the voice of the customer internally and externally across Cybersource and Visa. This role reports to the Director of Product Marketing at Cybersource.

**Lehi, UT or Austin, TX are preferred. We are open to other Visa office locations too.

Essential Functions: 

  • Collaborate with product management, sales and marketing peers to develop product messaging and positioning that resonates with direct and indirect target buyer personas.

  • Drive go-to-market product marketing strategies that align with product releases, trends, and key initiatives to ensure quality, clarity, and consistency with business goals.

  • Support our sales channels by enabling solution understanding, focusing on business issues and complex solution-level sales with internal tools and external resources.

  • Create content for CyberSource products and solutions including, but not limited to use cases, presentations, videos, solutions collateral, website content, demos and blogs.

  • Communicate and evangelize the voice of the customer and marketing strategies with internal stakeholders within the organization.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications

  • 5 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or at least 2 years of work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 0 years of work experience with a PhD

Preferred Qualifications

  • 6 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or 4 or more years of relevant experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or up to 3 years of relevant experience with a PhD
  • Knowledge and understanding of eCommerce preferred, payments industry/risk management experience would be a plus.
  • Agility to shift priorities and direction to align with rapidly changing market conditions.
  • Strong writer and storyteller, communicator, and team builder; attention to detail.
  • Highly organized with a passion for improving processes and providing creative solutions.
  • Experienced in collaborating across functional areas, empathetic to others’ needs.
  • Ability to work well in a fast-paced and dynamic environment and manage multiple projects.
  • Passion for working with market-facing (sales and partner) teams and helping close deals.

Work Hours

Incumbent must make themselves available during core business hours.

Physical Requirements

This position, in future, may be performed in an office setting.  The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers, and reach with hands and arms.

Travel Requirements

This position requires the incumbent to travel for work 5% to 10% of the time
