Job Description

What’s it all about?

This hands-on Analyst position based in Europe will serve as part of Visa's Cybersecurity Assurance function within the Cybersecurity Governance Risk and Compliance (GRC) team, reporting to Head of GRC –  Europe .This position will be responsible for working closely with Global teams executing and maturing the Cybersecurity Assurance program within Visa Inc. The role ensures close coordination with technology and business partners in continuous risk remediation efforts and timely reporting on issues and risks to Cybersecurity and executive leadership.   The incumbent will work closely on implementation activities that support on-going Assurance program maturity and Continuous Controls efficacy testing programs. In addition to supporting the Global Assurance program, the incumbent will also track, consolidate, and report on security issues, control deviations and risks specific to Europe as required.

A particular area of focus for this role will be to support newly acquired business entities in the Europe time zone as their onboard to Visa's Cybersecurity assurance  and technology risk processes. This will involve extensive interaction with stakeholders across Cybersecurity globally and within the newly acquired business entity, The role will also be required to support on broader GRC initiatives such as Cybersecurity Control testing and the annual refresh of the RCSA (Risk and Control Self Assessment)  for Cybersecurity - taking direction from different functional leads.

Must be able to work with Global teams with focus on cross-functional team’s success. Flexible and able to manage multiple tasks and priorities on very tight deadlines.

Qualifications

What we’re after…

  • Work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD, or PhD) in Computer Science, Information Systems, Management Information Systems, or Business Administration or another related field

Preferred Qualifications

  • Substantial work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or work experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) in Computer Science, Information Systems, Management Information Systems, or Business Administration or another related field. Significant and relevant experience meeting the job description may be substituted for degree requirements.
  • Experience in working in and around Cybersecurity assurance, risk and compliance activities preferably in a large global financial institution or a matrix organisation
  • Proactive and able to synthesise a variety of data points, problem solve, and formulate comprehensive and effective execution and risk mitigation plans
  • Excellent writing and verbal communication skills, interpersonal and presentation skills and the proven ability to influence and communicate
  • Experience in working with global teams spread across regions
  • Ability to influence beyond immediate team and with those of more experience / seniority
  • Must be extremely flexible and able to manage multiple tasks and priorities on very tight deadlines
