Job Description

Team Summary

Visa's Global Interchange Group sets the financial rate of exchange (i.e., interchange reimbursement fee) between different stakeholders in the payments ecosystem. Effective management of interchange requires a balancing of the economics of a transaction while evaluating new payment use cases and competitive alternatives.

What an Analyst of Interchange does at Visa:

The primary focus of this position is to conduct data analysis in support of the development of interchange rates across the Asia Pacific Region. This position will create, maintain and execute analytics and data models to support modification of existing interchange rates and introduction of new interchange rates. In addition, the position will develop dashboards and reporting solutions to enable key stakeholders (i.e. Country, Product, MS&A, etc.) to identify trends and potential issues.

Why this is important to Visa

Visa's ability to successfully set interchange and balance stakeholder economics is key to creating the financial incentive to grow merchant acceptance and incentivize card issuance and usage in the traditional four party payments model.
