Job Description

The Business Analyst at Fraedom is a key role facilitating the transition of business requirements into working software solutions. This role requires working with a wide range of stakeholders and influencers within the Fraedom Technology Group, including Product Owners, Partner Solutions Lead, Product Management, and at times Fraedom’s banking partners.

The primary focus of the Business Analysts is to facilitate the delivery of products and solutions within their respective delivery stream/team in alignment with Fraedom’s strategic product roadmap.

This is done by preparing requirements for development from an understanding of the business use case and requirements, accountable for ensuring user stories are created. This involves either working within a collaborative cross discipline team or as consultants to delivery teams, contributing to enhancing and expanding the Fraedom product platform.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years commercial experience in software product development
  • Deep understanding and empathy of internal and external customer needs and commercial drivers
  • Technical competence to be able to communicate with a wide range of stakeholders -architects, UX practitioners and the development team essential
  • Working in Agile environments is valuable, specifically the Scrum framework
  • Able to keep pace with emerging technologies and genuine desire to be across new product designs and user experience trends
  • Understanding of common corporate finance processes, especially expense management, invoicing, accounts receivable and accounts payable.
