Job Description

As a working student at Cybersource, a VISA Solution you will be joining a dynamic and inclusive environment. You will be part of the Release and incident management team which is responsible for coordinating the software releases and resolving production incidents. As part of this role you will.

Essential Functions

  • Working closely with the Incident manager on daily tasks:
  • Cooperating and communicating with the stakeholders to resolve incidents.
  • Continuous improvement process for incident and problem management.
  • Work together with on-call team to make sure incident process is followed.
  • Create monthly SLA and performance reports.
  • Document new process, update the current documentation
  • Helping with release management.
  • Helping with Business Continuity Management.
  • You will be encouraged to propose improvement ideas and initiatives

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

  • You are in the last year of your Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
  • You are eager to learn the skills required to deliver features to production
  • You have a growth mindset and want to take on new challenges outside of your comfort zone. 
  • You possess good communication skills and you welcome the opportunity to collaborate in a tight knit, agile team-oriented group. 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Basic understanding of Software Development Life Cycle.
  • Confident in using Excel, Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence, Trello), any other task management tool.
  • Strong time-management.
  • Good written and spoken English.
  • Highly driven, resourceful and results oriented.
  • Basic understanding of service support processes. Incident and problem management would be a plus.
