Job Description

Reporting to Director of Client Engineering, Manager – Endpoint Vulnerability Management role is responsible for day to day operational support for the primary remediation team located in the APAC region by prioritizing the incoming work. He/She will be leading a team of System Engineers responsible for rollout of security patches, ensure 100% compliance, drive and implement roadmap items through automation efforts. These include Windows and Mac OS updates, software packages, Security patches in the environment.

Experience managing engineering teams as a "Technical Lead" is a must along with experience delivering high quality customer engagements and results.

 Essential Functions:

  • Hands-on experience with endpoint vulnerability remediation with strong technical understanding and experience assessing vulnerabilities and identifying weaknesses in multiple operating system platforms and applications.
  • Communicate at the executive leadership levels by understanding how to translate technical gaps to business risk.
  • Reporting gaps in a meaningful way that addresses a business risk as well as providing technical solutions to the operations teams in remediation is key.
  • Define and drive implementation of roadmaps for major process improvements in area of patching, reporting and overall patch deployment methodologies
  • Proactively identify gaps and drive improvements through automation efforts
  • Manage a diverse team of talented systems engineers; attract, grow, and retain talent while building a culture of accountability, quality, innovation, and inclusion
  • Can thrive in an environment where success depends on a high degree of cross-functional collaboration to solve complex problems
  • Manage, triage and drive resolution of Operations escalations. Be predictive and push the reduction of those same escalations.
  • Focus on innovation and collaboration with Operations partners globally to reduce redundant work and improve efficiency.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or closely related discipline, required. Graduate degree in Computer Science or closely related discipline preferred. 2
  • 2 years’ experience managing a globally diverse engineering team.
  • 5+ years performing architecture, engineering & operations tasks in a medium to large enterprise.
  • Effective management and collaboration with geographically distributed teams is required.
  • Must have strong interpersonal and project management skills
  • Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written)

Preferred Qualifications:

  •  Proven leadership in people management, mentoring and helping career growth of engineers, creating leads across teams and empowering team with constantly raising the bar.
  • Technical proficiency and hands-on experience testing and deploying current Windows and Mac Operating system, Security patches, Security tool stack is required.
  • Proven track record of engineering excellence and improving organization efficiency

Additional Information

Mental/Physical Requirements:

This position will be performed in an office setting.  The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers, reach with hands and arms, and bend or lift up to 25 pounds.

 

Travel Requirements:

This position requires the incumbent to travel for work >5% of the time.

 

Work Hours:

Incumbent will be expected to make themselves available during core business hours
