Cybersource provides payment gateway technology to VISA’s marquee clients in the acquirer and merchant space. You will support Cybersource in its mission to extend its capabilities into the instore payment acceptance space.

You will be part of a feature team within Cybersource that is in charge of providing a sound and high-quality tech stack for our Android based smart terminal platform to enable next generation payment devices. You will take a key role in defining and implementing our vision for our next generation acceptance technology.
 

Essential Functions:

• Extend and maintain our Android payment SDK to implement the technical vision of our future technology stack for smart terminals
• Actively participate in developing and maintaining the technology platform your team is responsible for and open it up for enhancements from other teams
• Follow our testing pyramid which involves hardware testing using self-built robots
• Ensure that established coding practices are followed
• Actively extend your knowledge by learning from your senior colleagues and using learning material from VISA university and comparable sources
• Broaden your skillset by familiarizing yourself with domains outside the Android domain (e.g. Infrastructure / Backend) to ensure a flexible skillset in the team

Basic Qualifications:

• Minimum of 6 months of work experience as Android Developer or a Bachelor's Degree.

Preferred Qualifications:

• 2 or more years of work experience as Android Developer 

• Proven knowledge of Kotlin, Java 

• Strong problem solving and analytical skills 

• Application development lifecycle, CI/CD 

• Writing maintainable code using TDD/BDD paradigms 

• Clean code principles – SOLID, KISS, DRY, Clean Architecture 

• Nice to have: experience in iOS development

• 40 hours per week
