Job Description

We are looking for people that are great at coaching and mentoring others and are very serious about security. You will work on different aspects of our infrastructure being driven and motivated by a hybrid cloud approach. You will heavily contribute to enhancements of our platform offerings. You will be one key member of our international, distributed team that is working in Agile framework tailored for our needs, and yes, you may influence the way we work. The position is available both for our Munich (Germany) and Poznan (Poland) offices 

Essential Functions:

  • Empower your team and create trustful and inclusive environment. 

  • You will ensure that a sound collaboration model within the wider organization is found and maintained to work successfully on our Hybrid Cloud solution 

  • Help the team to factor in business drivers into the technical decision process 

  • Enable the future growth of team members so they can personally develop and advance in their careers. 

  • Liaise with stakeholders on Platform/Infrastructure related projects and translate them into operational work 

  • Actively participate in improving technical stack and developing the technology team is responsible for 

  • Involvement in hiring and recruiting process and future department growth 

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

  • 5 years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or at least 2 years of work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 0 years of work experience with a PhD 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 6+ years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or 4 +years of relevant experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA,  JD, MD) or up to 3 years of relevant experience with a PhD University Recruiting:  MBA/ PhD without experience 

  • Experience working in a leadership position with similar requirements. 

  • Emotional intelligence with focus on people development and delivering through the others 

  • Demonstrated ability to incorporate new techniques or introduce new technologies to solve business problems 

  • Comfortable and willing to be a hands-on contributor 

  • Strong agile mindset 

  • Recent hands-on experience operating and driving improvements in a production environment of a product company with a similar platform tech stack ( e.g. Kubernetes, Terraform, Istio, Ansible, Docker)
