Job Description

As a leader in digital payments, Visa focuses on enabling global money movement, growing consumer payments, advancing new payment flows, and offering value added services to our clients. The Global Marketing Capabilities team plays an important role in supporting these initiatives through marketing channel strategy, tools/technology, and operational execution. The Marketing Operations Manager is a key member of this team who will empower our global and regional marketers in driving brand awareness, product demand and client engagement around Visa’s B2B products and solutions.

This role will manage campaign operations processes and people and then evolve tools and technology that will scale usage and drive increased work efficiencies. This candidate should be passionate about how marketing technology can solve needs for marketers who run campaigns and have strong understanding of how digital marketing channels and data drive measurable campaign outcomes. The position is for an individual contributor and will report to the Senior Director on the Global Marketing Capabilities team. She/he will be a strong collaborator with Global and Regional Marketing, Product Marketing, Marketing Analytics, and IT partners.

Key Responsibilities

  • Project manage requests for email campaigns across marketing automation and campaign systems and oversee campaign operations execution with agency partners enabling targeted communications and orchestrated messages aligned to customer journeys
  • You will maintain and evolve processes to support efficient request intake and operational execution of services to requestors and stakeholders
  • You will oversee email marketing data strategies that ensure data hygiene, quality, governance, and adherence to privacy regulations are central to daily operations
  • You will support team leader with evolving B2B Marketing and Sales lead management processes in marketing and sales CRM systems
  • You will manage webinar platform and support execution for global and regional teams running Marketing-led webinars including event project management, presenter training, and live event production
  • You will develop reporting and analytics across Marketing Ops-managed tools to monitor system performance and campaign results; partner with Marketing Analytics team to ensure systems data is integrated into the marketing reporting platforms
  • Administer Marketing Ops-managed systems with Info Technology and Cybersecurity teams to maintain compliance within the Visa technology environment

 

Qualifications

Basic

  • Bachelor's degree plus 3-5 years of experience in managing marketing tools and technology platforms in a global organization, preferably B2B-facing

Preferred

  • Bachelor's degree plus 3-5 years of experience in managing marketing tools and technology platforms in a global organization, preferably B2B-facing.
  • You have expertise with enterprise marketing automation and email orchestration platforms (e.g. Eloqua, Marketo, Pardot) and CRM (Salesforce, MS Dynamics)
  • You have marketing automation experience with segmentation, campaign design and testing, lead scoring, customer journey mapping, Account Based Marketing, funnel optimization, channel attribution and reporting
  • Experience with hands-on execution of event marketing platforms (ON24 and Cvent preferred)
  • You have a passion for using data and insights to drive future business decisions; intermediate to advanced Excel skills for handling large amounts of data to clean and standardize database values as well as to derive insights for reporting
  • Systems/process-oriented thinker who loves to organize people and streamline operations
  • Deep understanding of how marketers operate and how technology can best serve their needs; knowledge of tools used to advise and apply channel strategies for campaign plans; experience creating documentation and performing training to rollout out new tools or functionality
  • Well-versed in modern digital marketing practices and ability to assess and evaluate marketing technology capabilities
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple, complex projects in a fast-paced, global environment; effective at influencing others to achieve goals and outcomes

Essential Functions​​​​

Physical Requirements:    This position will be performed in an office setting.  The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment (phones and computers), reach with hands and arms, and bend or lift up to 25 pounds

Travel Requirements:   The incumbent may be required to travel domestically and internationally 10-15%
