Job Description

The Global Sales Enablement and Analytics team builds tools and solutions that help Account Executives who are managing Visa’s largest relationships with Merchants and Acquirers sell more effectively. This internship is a unique opportunity to work with Visa’s vast amount of global data to provide insights that help our clients make better strategic decisions that benefit their business. You will get global exposure and the opportunity to work with client-facing team members across the globe.

The Intern will support a variety of impactful projects on a fast-paced and experienced team. Projects will vary dependent on future needs of the team, but tasks may include: 

  • Creating client-facing quantitative analyses that demonstrate the value of Visa products and solutions
  • Dashboard development (helping develop and optimize scalable client-facing and internal dashboards to globally track client performance and sales progress)
  • Conducting industry/client research, identifying internal and external data resources to create custom analytics
  • Analyzing client data and identifying preliminary trends and themes in the data
  • Developing presentations for clients and internal Visa partners
  • Engaging in project management of key product deliverables through liaison with stakeholders, meeting preparation, and timeline supervision

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications

  • Students completing MBA’s or Master’s Degrees with a focus on Data Science, Business Analytics, or another associated discipline.
  • Graduating between December 2021- August 2022.
  • Strong communications skills, specifically, the absence of repeated grammatical or typographical errors, clear and concise written and spoken communications, and communications that demonstrate professional judgment.
  • Permanent authorization to work in the U.S. is a precondition of employment for this position. Visa will not sponsor applicants for work visas in connection with this position.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Business Case Modeling and Data Analysis
  • 2-4 years of professional experience 
  • Knowledge of Project Management fundamentals 
  • Strong knowledge of Tableau, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Experience working with BI tools such as MicroStrategy, Data Hub, Hadoop or familiarity with SQL 
  • Comfortable with research and presentation of findings
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills
  • The ability to take on challenges and address problems head-on
  • Strong ability to collaborate
  • Highly driven, resourceful and results oriented
  • Good team player and excellent interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and navigate through ambiguity

Additional Information

Work Hours:

Incumbent must make themselves available during core business hours.

Physical Requirements

This position will be performed in an office setting.  The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers, and reach with hands and arms.

Travel

This position requires the incumbent to travel for work 0-5% of the time
