Job Description

What we expect of you, day to day.

  • Reporting to the Brand & Product Marketing Leader in Italy, you will lead the development, production (in-market), execution and tracking of holistic brand campaigns for consumers in the market and manage media plans and media execution with a focus on digital media.
  • You will convert and/or adopt international brand campaigns for the local market based on local consumer insights
  • You will make sure that the development is in-line with global marketing strategy and execution delivers on the strategic priorities for the Southern European cluster.
  • You will drive and manage the decision-making process based on clear and rationale recommendations.
  • You will partner with marketing, product owners, and client facing teams to identity and execute upon opportunities to effectively market Visa products.
  • You`ll own budget and cross-channel implementation of projects and ensure consistency of communications across all product platforms and customer facing materials
  • You will own the planning process within the Visa planning cycle which covers budget and market activation (block plans)
  • You will develop and/or oversee B2C/B2B2C marketing programs to communicate with your in-depth knowledge the benefits of Visa products to increase cardholder acquisition, usage and loyalty
  • You will take the lead that planned marketing activities align with key Visa priorities and client objectives and have well defined business and marketing KPIs
  • You will conduct analysis and provide thought leadership and advice by leveraging data, metrics, and insights to be shared with internal teams, senior management, and external clients.
  • You will manage and take the lead with agency partners to execute integrated marketing programs and communications.
  • You will champion the brand position and the brand strategy in the market
  • You will leverage global sponsorships through marketing activities and manage full flash integration into the local brand campaign.

  • Proven, first-hand knowledge of the Italian market
  • Strong strategic marketing background with high level of experience delivering measurable business results
  • Have a marketer’s heart to move things forward and be inspirational to evolve marketing programs.
  • Experience with leading, developing and implementing multi-channel marketing programs and comfort using data to optimise paid media
  • Provide significant input to campaign and program development strategic and business objectives
  • Apply payment industry and product expertise across Marketing channels and disciplines
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills, with demonstrated intellectual and analytical rigor
  • Adept at using data from multiple sources to build investment/business cases to prove how marketing strategies drive the business
  • Good understanding of Visa’s business environment and payments eco-system
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a complex organisation with multiple stakeholders to deliver accurate and on-time project deliverables
  • Provide significant input to drive efficiencies and improve processes
  • Excellent project management skills and attention to detail
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, Outlook and Excel
  • Fluency in English and Italian
