Job Description
As a Sr. Director, you will be part of B2B Connect product team and will own and execute our settlement and foreign exchange (FX) strategy. The role requires a high level of interaction and collaboration with business and technical leaders across the company, including Treasury, Technology and external partners. The ideal candidate has experience in setting strategy (Innovate & Simplify, Think Big), building net new products or leading foreign exchange and/or wholesale payment initiatives. The leader will be passionate about customer experience, innovation and business growth.
Essential Functions
As a product leader, own the delivery of Visa B2B Connect settlement and foreign exchange service initiatives
Create use cases, product concepts, product definition statements, and product design requirements
The individual should have an inquiring aptitude to understand the key drivers of supporting B2B large value payments business and to drive strategies to mitigate risk, enhance the P&L and create new business opportunities
In-depth knowledge of wholesale Payments, multi-currency clearing and FX settlement is desirable
Establish key performance metrics and measurements for the predictable delivery of B2B Connect settlement and treasury services to ensure continuous improvement
Drive process improvements and new product/process introductions, create process documentations and align solutions to B2B Connect strategic initiatives. (speed of settlement, liquidity optimization, and currency windows)
Create the vision and lead the execution of centralized settlement data management, reporting and reconciliation efforts with core product and engineering teams
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications
12 years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree; 10 years of work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters/MBA/JD/MD); or a minimum of 5 years of work experience with a PhD
Preferred Qualifications
15-18 years of experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or 12 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD or PhD)
Desirable Experience in transaction banking, foreign exchange products, cash management, international payments
Ability to engage with wholesale banking and technology organizations, exposure to bank connectivity and industry standards including ISO 20022, TMS, others etc.
Subject matter expertise on complex treasury processes like bilateral and multilateral netting, exposure management, physical and notional pooling and in-house banking
Ability to influence and build consensus across the organization, excellent communication skills, able to clearly communicate product management strategy in an easy to understand manner
10+ years’ experience leading complex B2B product development projects in the financial service industry – cash management / foreign exchange experience ideal

Physical Requirements
This position will be performed in an office setting. The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers, reach with hands and arms, and bend or lift up to 25 pounds.
Work Hours
Incumbent must make themselves available to support clients in other time zones globally.
Travel Requirements
This position requires the incumbent to travel for work 10% of the time
