Job Description

POSITION SUMMARY

The Global Sales Excellence team is seeking an Analyst for their Sales Enablement Knowledge Management team.  This position will report into the Senior Director, Sales Excellence based in Foster City, California. In this role, the Analyst will work under the general supervision of the Sr. Director where they will focus on the day-to-day operations of Compass knowledge management system. 

The goal of the Knowledge Management team is to harness the best of our staff’s individual and collective expertise, and make it available to our global client-facing organization. The ideal candidate has a deep expertise in the creation, upkeep, and promotion of relevant content for our new Knowledge Management platform.

Essential Functions:

Core duties for the role include:

  • Using metadata structure to tag and upload content to the platform;

  • Review content submissions to ensure adherence to guidelines and ensure there is no sensitive information on the platform

  • Continuously audit content to ensure relevant content is available to end users

  • Archive out of date or duplicate content

  • Partner with SMEs to fill in missing metadata

  • Create landing pages to organize information on the platform

  • Manage shared mailbox and answer user questions

  • Identify global content priorities and work as a team to help capture and codify relevant materials, and minimize redundancies in content creation globally.

  • Enforce the usage of standardized document templates for consistent look and feel globally

  • Create and run Google Analytics reports to help understand tool usage and adoption

  • Manage relationship with IT partners to provide ongoing feedback loop and ensure system enhancements are implemented

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications

  • 2 or more years of work experience supporting Knowledge Management or Information projects
  • Minimum 6 months of work experience or a Bachelor’s Degree  

Preferred Qualifications

  • BA or BS degree required

  • Proven success in cross-functional projects to drive global results and consistency

  • Self-starter with strong time management skills, and who can proactively reprioritize their workload as needed to meet the most critical business needs

  • Ability to effectively collect, maintain, and track data from multiple sources with a strong attention to detail with a passion for quality

  • Demonstrated track record of driving results in a highly matrixed business model

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Proficiency in Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint and Word

  • Experience with Salesforce, Google Analytics and/or an enhanced search engine preferred

Additional Information

Work Hours:

  • Incumbent must make themselves available to support time zones from other regions on an as needed basis

Travel Requirements:

  • This position requires the incumbent to travel for work 5% of the time.

Physical Requirements: ​​​​​​

  • This position will be performed in an office setting.  The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers, and reach with hands and arms.
