Job Description

At Visa Consulting & Analytics (VCA) we are currently looking for a Masters intern to support the team on supporting our Managed Services practice as part of our consulting team to support the Latin-American region based out of our office located in Miami, FL.  The ideal candidate is a highly analytical individual with previous business and/or technical experience.

VCA is a global team of industry experts in strategy, marketing, operations, risk and fraud consulting, with decades of experience in the payments industry.

Typical projects may include:

  • How does a financial institution increase market share in consumer credit cards?
  • How should a credit card issuer use emerging technology to acquire the best customers?
  • How does a financial institution grow their credit card portfolio while mitigating credit risk?
  • How does a financial institution or merchant optimize their product offering or marketing campaigns?

 

Responsibilities:

·       Help automate and streamline execution processes of ongoing lifecycle programs.

·       Help systematize and operationalize current methodologies.

·       Help enhance, standardize and package current offerings and solutions for regional deployment.

·       Use an “outside-in” approach to help improve existing product set and reimagine new use cases.

·       Identify potential services as outsourcing of our customer’s internal business processes.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

  • Must have a Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent
  • Pursuing a Masters, graduating December 2020 or later
  • Minimum GPA of 3.0 out of 4.0 (or equivalent scale)

 Preferred Qualifications:

·        4+ years of relevant experience in financial services industry, payments, consulting or similar.

·        Ideally strong experience in digital marketing technology, payments product management, Customer relationship management and project management.

·        Engineering, computer science or quantitative background.

·        Technological driven mindset, digitally savvy and up-to-date with latest market and industry analytical and digital trends.

·        Experience executing commercial programs in platforms like Salesforce, SAS, Adobe, Teradata or similar a plus.

·        Bilingual – Spanish or Portuguese

Work Hours:

  • Incumbent must make themselves available during core business hours.
     

Physical Requirements

  • This position will be performed in an office setting.  The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers and reach with hands and arms.
