CyberSource, a Visa company, is a world leader in e-commerce payment processing, risk management and payment security capabilities, and now driving towards the future of Integrated Commerce.
The Sr. Director Enterprise Solutions will be responsible for championing the ‘enterprise merchant client needs directly into the CyberSource product portfolio, strategy, business planning process and roadmap to meet regional and global needs to grow.
Solution Managers are key to our segment and business line strategies, accountable for the alignment of sales, customer success, marketing and product teams to execute a plan to achieve P&L targets. They drive the vision and segment strategy of the product line and its delivery and execution across the organization to provide integrated merchant acceptance solutions to merchants of all sizes around the globe.
Essential Duties:
- Focusing on the Enterprise and Global merchants segment, mindful of all distribution channels (Direct, Technology Partnerships and Financial Institution Partners), contribute directly to the Enterprise Merchant Solution portfolio strategy and investment plan by formally assessing market needs, revenue and scale opportunities, influence strategic direction, make informed recommendations on relative priorities.
Lead the creation and commercial preparedness of solution packages designed to generate significant incremental revenue within the Enterprise and Global merchants segment. Leverage existing product capabilities and assets and identify gaps and market opportunities required for future solutions.
Engage and coordinate cross-functional teams to understand client and market opportunity, identify opportunities for growth, address issues to develop and structure an overall solution value proposition and initial proposal/definition.
Globally, work with the regional market sales leadership and business development teams, clients, prospects and partners to address market opportunities and identify / define required solutions in order to compete and positively differentiate the CyberSource value proposition.
Drive efforts to evolve the CyberSource solution strategy/prioritization to establish business sponsorship, define execution and success criteria to measure success.
Create and update business cases and financial models to define business rationale and financial impact of investment of proposed solutions.
Tease out product capabilities needed across different product lanes and collaborate product managers to ensure solutions are designed and delivered as a complete solution from a customer perspective between payment, business tools, physical acceptance, digital acceptance, fraud management, data security, analytics, etc.
Conduct competitive landscape assessments and regulatory intelligence activities to evaluate competitors' activities and implications to inform senior executive decision-making.
Maintain close relationships with key merchant and financial institution business contacts to proactively solicit feedback on features, functionality, services and future requirements and act as subject matter expert and funnel into Product.
Identify key business & technology partners and vendors relevant to industry segment leadership in order to increase product distribution or provide value added services to CyberSource’s portfolio of capabilities.
Author content and deliver at appropriate customer, partner and industry forums.
Drive commercialization for new market specific solutions across functional disciplines to ensure a successful market launch with Product Managers.
Create and maintain commercialization plans that drive CyberSource and Visa's competitive advantage and revenue growth agenda for core and emerging products (eCommerce, Digital, Mobile, In-store, Integrated Commerce Alternative payments, Data Insights, Fraud and Risk Management).
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
12 years of work experience with a Bachelors Degree; 10 years of work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters/MBA/JD/MD); or a minimum of 5 years of work
experience with a PhD
Preferred Qualifications:
Successful candidates should have a minimum of 4-6 years of business experience within a top tier payment service provider, gateway, merchant acquiring Institution or consulting company, and 12+ years of professional experience.
While a Bachelor's degree is required, an MBA or equivalent is strongly preferred
Advanced understanding of banking and payment card systems and processes for Ecommerce and In-store payments.
Advanced understanding and experience of the card present payment acceptance eco-system required.
Sound knowledge of marketing principles, product management and merchant acceptance business acumen.
Experience/knowledge of emerging consumer, data management and payment trends and competitive landscape.
Overall strong analytical, quantitative, commercial, project management and interpersonal skills.
Understand data, intellectually curious, interested in digging into the detail, making recommendations based on the data, using it to solve problems and drive sound arbitration between priorities.
A highly analytical and structured thinker with an excellent ability to put complex ideas into clear frameworks.
Ability to envision and articulate a long term product strategy designed to improve the CyberSource customer experience and value proposition.
strong communication and presentation skills: ability to interact with senior management and all stakeholders at all levels of the organization, internally and externally.
Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills in English; Additional languages a plus. Ability to synthesize information into key messages appropriate for the audience.
Ability to inspire and lead high performing cross-functional teams who can envision and create innovative solutions that meet the needs of our Enterprise and Global Merchants.
Disciplined and tolerant of ambiguity, with the maturity and capability to interact and influence across multiple organizational levels internal and external to CyberSource and Visa.
Negotiation skills with proven track record of achieving results a plus.

Travel Requirements:
This position requires the incumbent to travel for work 10% of the time.
