Visa’s Data team work in our very first Data Science Lab to help bring our data to life and provide all employees with a deeper insight into Visa’s business through the innovative and creative use of technology. The team uses data to improve conversion rates with clients, build brand trust, enhance decision-making and develop our best talent by building a centre of expertise. The team focuses our data-driven insights to identify commercial opportunities using interactive media like virtual and augmented reality.

Here are some cool things our Big Data interns work on:
•    Drive education of data-driven tools and analysis techniques internally to develop data ambassadors and change agents within broader Visa
•    Leverage Visa transaction data to create a customer journey analysis to provide a bank insight into cross-selling opportunities for their customer base
•    Manage a standard interactive dashboard for performance benchmarking
